If she isn't in your department, by all means don't talk to her anymore. But if she is, you have no choice but work together to get something done. Just be professional and don't go beyond that.

Also, I admitted to liking an ex coworker from several jobs back, sometime after I left. guess what she did? She fucking told everyone. I found kit because other coworkers were teasing me about it, and they weren't even working there anymore either. I still managed to talk to her after online.

Be very careful with everything you do in regards to romance in the workplace. Your professional reputation is more important then it.

I just want to say that I like her and have no regrets later on in life, I'll either just say I liked her in the past and don't now and gauge how it goes or do as I said prior.

She's probably going to want to get Doordash food to which I'll tell her no. She still owes me a favor from a bet I won to which I'm going to tell her not to bother anymore with. Also going to not pick up any shifts where she's working and minimize any overlap otherwise.

Normally I don't think it's a good idea to date a coworker, especially if they are in the same dept and/or you don't know if they like you back.

Just make it as awkwardless as you can, because you really have to think about the future and that you will be seeing her everyday. Not to mention workplace gossip. Be as discreet as possible

If you really like her, better way to show you are interested is ask is if she wants to hang out sometime. Less awkward and she likely gets the hint. If she makes an excuse, move on. If she says she is busy but will get back to you, it's a good sign. And if course if she agrees, then it's better.

Absolutely don't spill your guts to a woman ever, unless you have some serious history and connection. That scares people. Especially if it's long winded. Life isn't like the movies.

I might just do this instead though.

Probably, will get tongue tied but that's the norm for me now sadly, but I've literally spent the last four hours trying to sleep and couldn't and this is what's going to happen. Will be in around three weeks or so :|

Then I'm never going to pick up a shift with her while she works again.

Then when she tries to change the subject or dodges the topic, I'm going to just tell her that I know she doesn't like me the way I feel about her and that it probably wouldn't work out, but I just a definitive no.

It'll be selfish of me, but I really just need the no so I can move on. Don't really care if she tells our coworkers at this point since I'll be leaving in a few months most likely when I graduate.
