Also wrong. Mustard Gas was probably not going to kill you. It actually resulted in a shockingly small number of deaths. It was more likely to hospitalize you with long term injuries. It also was just as likely to injure the people deploying it as much as the people they were targeting if the wind shifted.

Again, the vast majority of casualties were the result of artillery.

If the migrants in the caravan want to cross legally and apply for asylum it's completely legal for them to do so. I have no problem with detaining them until their applications can be processed. What I do have a problem with is the way the president and his GOP cronies are handling this whole as though it was some sort of invading army and sending the military.

If they cross illegally, send them back. If they cross legally and apply for asylum, process their application as normal. It could have been that simple, but now you a bunch of right wing militias following the military down there with huge boners because they are about to get the thing they always dreamed of, the opportunity to maybe get to shoot a bunch of brown people looking for a better life.
