We also went on a spinning thing (it has a name but Im old and senile). Space Academy was for older kids and had actual classes. They kept kicking my chair because I kept falling asleep. There was college credit involved, so I guess thats why they cared. Near the end there was a 24-hour simulated mission. We each were assigned roles; I was the PAO. I got to make announcements to the public about the progress of the mission. It actually was really cool. My family was not wealthy, but my parents spoiled me. ETA: oh, yeah, and there was a big water tank for simulating weightlessness (with SCUBA gear).
