It was extremely fast and could change direction pretty much instantly. It didn't have any bias because it was just a bird that was scared as fuck of what was going on. It was so fragile that it would be crushed when a Seeker grabbed it, so they ended up endangered. In games that are part of leagues (such as the ones played at Hogwarts), it's better to lose catching the snitch closing the score gap than it is to let the other team catch it and have their score skyrocket (the former puts you in a better position to still win the league overall). --- We're surrounding you. I mean Ireland still had to be like 15x better than Bulgaria just to edge in a marginal victory. Like imagine if in basketball you got 100 points for some basically random event, like tapping a streaker on the shoulder.
