However it seems like the tapir is the largest animal in South America and they only get up to 700 lbs or so and they are vulnerable as a species.

The prey base would probably not support a thriving tiger population.

Like you, I've been out of college for a long, long time.
And even now, at 45 years of age, my most frequent recurring type of dream is of me in college, and I realize I've forgotten one of my classes for most of the semester, and the day I remember I'm still enrolled in it, of course it's past add/drop and there's a big exam.

I also have that dream!
