It takes a lot of the stress off of driving, imo. I've done hours long trips with navigate on autopilot and I've had no driver's fatigue afterward.

I'm gonna have to wait for these technologies to mature before I develop a new opinion.

Active cruise control?
Lane keeping? I should not be driving if I can't stay in my lane.
Blind spot monitoring? Ok, I quite like that, if I'm being honest.
