Are they more social or smarter than cougars or something? Why would they fare better? They have to eat more to sustain larger size. Edit: i guess it depends on what you mean by thrive. However it seems like the tapir is the largest animal in South America and they only get up to 700 lbs or so and they are vulnerable as a species. The prey base would probably not support a thriving tiger population. --- FlowerBridge ... Copied to Clipboard!
