I was reminded a few days ago these servers shut down on March 21st and I hadn't finished it so I went ahead and grinded this out so I wouldn't have any outstanding trophies when it disappears for good. Rocket Arena is a 3 on 3 shooter that was a PS+ game at some point I believe and it was.....fine? I only played it for like 2 days back when it came out then just walked away from it. It had 4 different game modes of first to 20 KOs, first to score 5 goals in a soccer mode, first to 5 in a king of the hill type mode and first to 250 in a collect the coins mode. The trophies were basically get 100 kills with each character (which would also get you get 1000 overall kills) and 50 goals, 1000 seconds spent protecting the hill, 1000 coins collected and 100 overall wins. There's also some character EXP stuff, but in the end days here they cranked up the exp earned to x20 so reaching level 100 with a character (the previously grindiest trophy) was made trivial.

If you hop in now there's probably not enough time left to finish the platinum although you can't buy the game anymore so you would have had to already redeemed it when it was that free PS+ game. Just a reminder online only games that get shut down are the worst they shouldn't do them.

A hot PS1 Classic coming at ya! Although I didn't think this was a very good game it controls so poorly. Certainly no Wave Race 64. I hear the sequel is better though so I'll have to check that out next.

The trophy list is pretty simple due to the nature of it just being a PS1 game they have to fit those in within the triggers that already exist within the game. Pretty much trying out all the modes and courses and playing 30 races total will net you the platinum. You can use all the cheat codes available to you as well to make races easier like infinite turbo and what not.

Oh good now we can guarantee no team will be able to run the ball on the Lions next season

Had to make sure to replay this game and get a platinum before I start Rebirth. Meant to do it a lot earlier, but just never got aound to it. It's still the same game it was on PSP, but just looking a lot better as all character models and environments got remade. A simple 100% playthrough here. I had already maxed out Zack's stats and gotten most of the best accessories by the beginning of Chapter 5 including defeating the optional superboss, Minerva. From there it was just making sure to get all the missable trophies in each chapter and just breezing through to the end on Hard mode doing 99999 damage to everything. Then had to idle the DMW at the end there to get 100% on there that tacked on an extra 10-15 hours or so while i played other things.

Now that I"m here I'm thinking I'm going to also finish Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen since I never actually finished it although I've played it for maybe 15 hours or so. Then I can do Rebirth and Dragon's Dogma 2 back to back although I guess I won't be doing these things as they release. Ah well.

I associate Super Mario Bros 3 with Easter because it's the only game I ever got in my Easter Basket
