With Toei putting out a new Sailor Moon series next year, they might be willing to license the rights to the old series back out to an American company to hype up interest. No guarantees but it is an intriguing possibility.

....why couldn't you have just put Susan Egan and Paige O'Hara as a joint spot (like with Linda Larkin and Lea Salonga)? That WOULD have been fair.
As it stands, any Disney girl performance list without Paige O'Hara at LEAST in the top 4 is not credible. There are only three performances I would accept being above Paige's (even though I have her at #1 on my list), those are Susan Egan as Megara, Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, and Jodi Benson as Ariel. :p

MSNBC just broke it live on air, it's up on CNN's website now too. They'll probably break the news on TV after this Higgs Boson story they're doing right now.

I understand wanting to wait to confirm, but apparently he died this morning, you'd figure that medical personnel or a cop would've been called to the scene to make it official by now.

Kid: She wrote a bad word! Jade: I write what I feel.
It shouldn't take this long for them to confirm it, Reuters and a bunch of other news agencies are reporting it and I assume someone in an official capacity knows about his death by now. Figured CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC would all be flashing their Breaking News graphics and maybe even one or more of the networks would've broken in.

Whats your most depressing sporting event that you witnessed live?
Ohio State, 70, Purdue, 66. Purdue had racked up a massive lead in the first half (and Robbie Hummel had eight 3s, IIRC), and was up by about ten with four minutes to go, then choked it all away.
Most depressing or crushing loss in a sport you don't usually care about?
Probably the Steve Bartman game.
Worst loss in a game or series you were 100% sure you were going to win?
Definitely Colts/Steelers AFC Divisional Playoffs in 2006. That idiot kicker.
Biggest blowout loss in a game you were super hyped up for?
1995 Eastern Conference Finals, Game 7. The Pacers were up against the Magic and never stood a chance, I was crying all through the fourth quarter of that one.
Last time you cried over a sports loss?
When the Pacers lost to the Hawks in Game 5 of the first round of the 1996 playoffs. The Pacers were the only team to beat the Bulls twice that year and I was really hoping we'd get a shot at shocking the world, but we didn't even get out of the first round.
Biggest postseason loss by your team that you still remember that season and team fondly for making it as far as they did? (Kinda wordy)
Ehhhh....probably the 2000 NBA Finals where the Pacers almost took the Lakers to seven. It was the only time we made the finals and we gave the Lakers the best series out of the three teams they beat over that threepeat.

What happens when technology reaches the point that there literally aren't enough practical jobs for everyone (i.e. we can automate manual labor and even simple mathematical jobs), to the point where maybe only 10% of humanity can actually work? Assuming that we can also completely afford to have government provide $100,000 a year worth of goods/services to the remaining 90% of humanity (again, via technology), would you be all right with this or would you demand that SOME sort of artificial manual labor be required for the other 90% to receive government benefits?

If service industry workers are so goddamned important, why are you advocating treating them like garbage? You don't want single payer health care, or welfare, or any of the benefits that would give service industry employees something resembling a living wage.

I'm sick of the oppression of gays in this country. If it takes something dramatic like the president forcing people to come into the 21st century via an executive order, then so be it.
--
Kid: She wrote a bad word! Jade: I write what I feel.
The President needs to grow a pair and issue an executive order making gay marriage legal everywhere. If some state doesn't like it, do what Eisenhower did and send in the National Guard. It's time we stop oppressing minorities in this country once and for all.
