MGS1 - Ocelot was on Snakes side all along, and even though he was double crossing even Snake, he was doing his part in achieving The Boss's/Big Boss's dream of world peace. Same with Liquid since he just wanted to follow in Big Boss's footsteps. The ends could have justified the means. MGS2 - I suppose Fatman? But even he was a Patriot plant and part of the master plan to achieve The Boss's dream. None of the others fit the bill. MGS3 - I guess Volgin is a villain, but still not really? He just wanted to become Russia's leader. Nuking shit is pretty bad but he was nuking enemy territory. MS4 - Nobody here is anywhere close to being a villain Peace Walker - Same thing again. Everyone is either MSF or Patriots dunno about MGSV I haven't finished --- |

Scripting is very useful no matter what road you take, the basics of that you can easily teach yourself in a few weeks/months and you wont ever likely need to delve deeper into stuff like Big O (not sure if networking benefits from scripting knowledge though, might be the exception) Certs are definitely the faster and cheaper option, while still being very respectable (especially the Cisco, Microsoft and VMWare certs), so go for those. Ive finished my it degree and im currently studying for the CCNA myself. Theres people who can do all the study in a few weeks and pass the exam, so if you stick your face into the books and study a lot you can easily have a cert done in a few months, far quicker than a semester at uni and far quicker then finishing off that degree and getting the piece of paper so youre recognised --- Posted with GameRaven 3.2.2 |

While you can be self taught in programming, most companies who hire programmers highly value computer science majors because you learn so much more there than you can reasonably self teach yourself IT certifications are for if you want to go into Networking, Security, Sys Ops, server administration (windows server, vmware, etc), and are highly regarded by companies looking to hire someone in these roles. Im not sure if this is true for all unis but i think any networking degrees at uni is basically the ccna course, but longer and more expensive Id personally recomend getting a uni degree since it applies for life and you never have to renew, and its a good base for learning everything else. You can always get certs later, businesses are more inclined to pay you to get (as in pay for your training and exams, and pay you while youre away from work) certs due to less time involved, i doubt many companies will pay for your univeristy degree, let alone time off to study a lot over a period of 3-4 years --- Posted with GameRaven 3.2.2 |
