All of his tricks and attempts at subterfuge are purposefully telegraphed and caught on by literally everyone else, and he just comes off as a loser who loves to hear himself talk. Which I guess is exactly what they're going for, but it doesn't make for an interesting protagonist. Nobody on the NA servers uses DF for extreme or savage*raises hand* I do. I use Duty Finder for everything. None of the dungeons I've tackled were ever super hard enough to really require looking up guides, though, and if someone is new they'll just say that and ask for tips before entering the boss rooms.
