I really liked it years ago when I watched the first season. Then the second season came out and I liked that, too. Until the very end of that season.

I can now watch them with minimal ads through Sling, which I will have for a few more weeks. However, I have found what I've seen of season 3 to be grating and the whole big convoluted mystery just hasn't excited me. Many have told me that it comes together in a great way and that is well worth watching, though. If I'm gonna do it, it'd probably be now, and I'd hate to miss out on an anime staple. There are a lot of episodes to go, though, and I'd hate for it to be a slog since I've not liked it as much starting toward the end of season 2.

For those of you who have seen it through, what's your suggestion?

Season 3 is that skirmish arc right? The ending of that and a few events afterwards is prob highlight of series for me. It only goes downhill from there imo

Please just say youre wrong or youre right. Wanna know if it is worth continuing, cause it got repetitive and old quickly.

I don't know what to tell you. The first half of season 3 is widely agreed upon to be the worst part. The anime did a lot to fix it but it's still not great.

The second half has some of the highest highs.

The final season is my favorite part of the story, but I wasn't a fan of the ending.

The start of season 3 is what people call the "politics arc" or "Attack on Politics" and it's definitely the slowest part of the show.

The back half of season 3 is when things go back to more action and all the story threads start coming together in cool ways.

If you've liked everything thus far, just bear with it for the politics arc, because everything afterwards is really good.
