Murder is a legal thing. Definitions probably vary a bit from country to country.
If the killing of certain people is sanctioned by the government, then it is not "murder" because it was lawful.
That said, the enemy country may consider the act "murder" and if you happen to be on the losing side in a war then you may be punished once the government that sanctioned your killing is overthrown and you lose their protection.

Even if you were completely apathetic about the lives of others, that would have to be alarming in terms of personal safety. Why are they dead and not you? Does this mean you're going to die? How will things move on going forward?

Whatever causes the death would be a disaster of such epic proportions that most life on Earth would probably die in the aftermath. I'm not going to pretend that you think that a gore scene or full-on sex scene is the same as seeing a gay couple in non-sexual situations. Cuz if you do, theres something wrong with you. Most people don't see much gore or murder throughout their life. But I guarantee they'll encounter at least one gay couple. How they react to it will probably largely depend on how it was treated in their household growing up.

I had a weird emotional moment back when I used to do emergency stuff. I randomly started thinking about all the deads people I'd seen and was thinking about how none of them woke up realizing they were living their last day. Realizing that they'd never see their loved ones again.

I don't think I knowingly hold beliefs that evidence contradicts. If I find evidence contrary to my belief then I change my belief.
I'm sure there are beliefs I have that contradict evidence but, as I said, I'm unaware of what they are because I haven't seen that contradicting evidence yet.

Just the feel of their cool chest was surprisingly what I found most disturbing my first time. This lady had actually been out at least 15 minutes before we got on scene and she ended up being dead too. She threw up some weird shit on the way to the hospital.

It probably didn't end well for you because it was a touchy subject and also you aren't holding a logical position. Cancers that are caught early are often cured even now. I think it's weird that people seem so against the possibility that we dont have the technology to do something that they're willing to assume that we do have the technology to do so but that it's being hidden. What is it that makes you so sure? The fact that we have the internet or have went to the moon? The fact that we have vaccines? (Obviously far simpler tasks to accomplish) That's like living in an ancient society and thinking that since the wheel was invented, your society must also be capable of building a Boeing 747 but is just choosing not to so that the Big Horse companies can profit. It's always people who dont understand science who make this claim. In addition to obviously not understanding the science of cancer (yet still wanting to have debates about it as if you do), you also seem to forget that many other powerful entities, such as insurance companies and every rich person who doesn't work for pharmaceuticals, have an incentive to work for a cure. More people have an incentive to find a cure than those who don't.

Cancer isn't one disease. Will ALL cancers be cured in 100 years? Probably not.
I'm sure we'll make a lot of advances and some cancers will probably be cured within the next century. Itll probably also depend on how quickly the cancers are caught

Dude my grandparents on my mom's side have lived very long lives lol. So I guess I have some of those genetics, but I also am not as active as them. Statistically speaking, I'm likely to die of some disease at some point but ya never know. Could be an accident or some shit.
