A license to sell food from a cart is even cheaper ($10-50). So there's really no reason why this woman was operating for years without having a license unless nobody ever told her that she needed to apply for one. The migration that most of us have been taught about was the crossing of the Bering Strait, the land bridge that existed during the Ice Age between Siberia and Alaska but melted away. A type of migration that's lesser known is the contact between the Pacific Islands and the Americas through the Pacific Ocean Many Indigenous Americans have DNA relating to Melanesian, Polynesian and Austalian Indigenous due to Trans Pacific travel. There are actually tribes of people in the Pacific Islands who trace their history and origin back to South America. The woman and her father in the tiktok above are of Indigenous (Idigenous tribes in Texas) and Spanish descent (due to Spanish colonization) and they have Pacific Island remnants in their DNA but their appearance is close to Black and African descent people especially the Afro. There are a lot of people in the Pacific Islands who share this similar phenotype as well. If you are the USA and you have DNA relating to the Pacific Islands you may be distant descendant of these groups of people The idea that Native Americans only got to the Americas 15,000 years ago due to the land bridge from the Bering Strait is a misconception and partially perpetuated because certain "historians" either cant believe or dont want others to know that Indigenous Americans were capable of Oceanic travel and had been traveling between locations for thousands of years.
