I've just seen much crazy s*** over the years that I'm the type to just keep it moving. I don't know. I know it's not the best mentality to have, but it's the mentality that's kept me safe so far. Antivaxxing is also a very common belief in the black community even outside the NOI. Wouldn't necessarily call it antivaxxing though. We have definitely been f***ed with medically for decades and there's a 100% general fear and lots of conspiracy beliefs. A lot of people I know have already decided they won't take the vaccine.

Just explaining why and where it comes from. I don't necessarily agree with what he's saying, but do understand some of it in terms of the fear.

The Tuskegee incident is far from the only incident of medical apartheid against Black Americans. It's just the most well known. There's people being killed in hospitals even now. There's nothing "uncivilized" about this. This is all Farrakhan stated. We want our doctors that, we trust to analyze any treatment coming down the pipeline for Covid-19. Otherwise we're not taking the vaccine and we will not comply with any mandate. And it's not just any black doctor or epidemiologist but one that is known and trusted within our community. The Dawes Roll was a form of paper genocide. Many Native Americans and Indians were reclassified as "colored" which was a catch all term for all non white people. Many were jailed or threatened with jail for rightly claiming their tribal heritage

On the other hand many Europeans were able to buy their way into tribal heritage. This is where the term $5 indian comes from. Many European Americans felt entitled to the tribal benefits and reparations that tribe members received so some gamed their way into the tribal system on the Dawes roll
