I was speaking with my Uncle who grew up in Albany projects in Brooklyn and he was telling me how originally project housing was very nice and seen as a luxury in his day. This was during the 1940s and 1950s

The families were mixed Black, Puerto Rican, Italians and Jewish. Its interesting to see how things change over time

Loved both but I've run into a lot of weirdos outside the Institute of Art.

One guy followed my GF into a public bathroom. Another called himself "Johnny BeGood" and kept saying he never lies or steals while attempting to give me a hug.

Finally, on a nearby street, a big bearded guy came out of nowhere and pushed me against the window of what turned out to be a pet store, screamed "that's my cat!", and run into traffic getting bumped by a car. Took out his legs while landing on the hood. He then told the driver to fuck off and ran away.

Oh I'm fortunate none of this happen to me but I can see how this child happen. Its like those areas in Manhattan where weirdos may flock to at times

I'm going in August. Staying by Chinatown but probably gonna be in Millennium Park 90% of the time.

I really recommend the Willis (Sears) Tower, and the Institute of Art Museum

Yeah it is crazy cold that's the only thing I had issues with even though I'm used to it as a New Yorker. But it's harder when you're somewhere you're unfamiliar with

Im sure the media is just making up all those people who are being killed

Technically, St. Louis is #1 in murders for nearly the last 10 years but if you just watch the media you'd think Chicago is #1

Just had a vacation in Chicago was there from Thursday to Tuesday. It was beautiful I mainly stayed downtown but also went to the Nation of Islam mosque on Stony Island Rd to see Farrakhan speak Sunday. Even the hoods didn't seem as violent as they make it seem in the media

The first people to call out the the pattern of misuse of funds and overall dishonesty and unaccountability of the BLM organization were the Black community going back to 2014 with Darren Seals. They hijacked the Hands Up Dont Shoot grassroots movement and original Black Rights protesters and organizers set up corporations and organizations to accept donations and those donations don't primarily go to protecting Black people from the system of white supremacy and police violence. It goes to other agendas many of them subversive to the Black community and freedom fighters such as Darren Seals called them out from the beginning and many of those who were fighting in the beginning who spoke out against this were found suspiciously murdered
