GTA IV was pretty lame. I admittedly got super burned out on GTA3 growing up. I've never really been able to get into a Rockstar game since, despite really trying. The add-ons for IV were way better than the vanilla game, IMO.

I could easily live without TV. The streaming subs I have and my DVDs/BRs add up to enough that I don't really need anything else. I remember years ago, plebs on some group being all "lol who buys Futurama DVDs when it's on Netflix?!" and then crying when it was removed. I just left a pic of Judge Whitey with the caption "stupid poor people, why didn't you buy the DVDs?" and never went back. Gottem.

It's good advice. I get discouraged by a lot of therapists who just seem to think I'm doing really well.

I always thought therapy stuff was bogus and useless. Like getting some witch doctor to cast a spell. Turns out I just needed to be really picky and find the right person. Just keep at it and until one of them sticks.

It's kind of subjective... I consider sequels to numbered games "non-mainline", as X-2 would've been XI or something then. XIII was really a trilogy, but part 1 stood well enough on its own.

FF15's problem was that it went from an open-world to this linear rushjob to get it over with. I dunno what the developers did with all that time and money only to have an incomplete product they had to slap an ending section like that onto... I mean, that's not the only issue with it, but that's certainly its biggest.

I really liked XIII-2, Chocobo Racing, and Type-0 HD... but if I absolutely had to choose only one, hmm... XIII-2.

I'm extremely depressed and have hardly been able to think or focus on my school work all week (reading break). I moved across the province for school and feel like I'm surrounded by negative, unhelpful people. I don't want to fuck up my school, and that's definitely adding to my mental state.

The best advice I can offer is to maybe figure out the sort of person you are most receptive to and seek out a therapist that seems to fit the mold.

It's really dependent on subs within it, IMO. The actual base Apple TV really sucks. It's probably one of the worst options.

No. Life isn't fair. If I was good at literally nothing, maybe I'd be bitter, but I don't begrudge people for good genes or hard work.

Of those, Disney+. I like all the Marvel cartoons and Simpsons. Other than Castlevania and Cobra Kai, I think Netflix sucks asses. Their original shows are so bad. HBO Max isn't available here, so...

simp can be two things: a sarcastic jab that's playful because some dude is crushing normally and friends are breaking balls, or pointing out a person is going to crazy/pathetic lengths to win over a girl that doesn't want him. some guy generally being nice in a normal way isn't simping and anyone calling him that is mistaken.

sooooo many of their games follow the same template and just look and feel the same. Uncharted set this framework standard, did well, and then gradually almost everything made in-house adopted it. it's fucking boring and derivative. no other companies have so many eggs in one stylistic/gameplay flow basket. idiots gush over the low-hanging fruit like they're all masterpieces, but the lack of originality requires willful ignorance to ignore.

I voted for The Last of Us 2. Another "Sony formula" copy/paste job where everyone sits around enjoying the smell of their own farts. And I'm not saying this from some troll POV because girls kiss or because I hated Abby or whatever the heat was. I think Abby is a babe and she's fucking awesome, for the record. Grand Theft Auto IV sucked too, but it's still better by virtue of not essentially being part of a pleb formula that took over first-party PS game development for 2+ generations.
