And without them, I couldn't win seventeen-setters, which is something I frequently do.

But do they help you swing better, or simply make it more tolerable to do so?

Callouses do not make you play guitar better. They just make it more tolerable to do so. Take it from someone who doesn't go through monthly "callous-forming" due to not playing for so long -.-

I'm going to many of the Scandinavian cities this summer, so obviously there, but I'd love to visit Tokyo and Istanbul; both seem like extremely awesome cities.

Vancouver, San Diego, Denver (for an extended period, as I drove through driving to Lake Havasu), Portland, and Seattle (haven't been in years) are some of my other cities I'd like to visit.

I lived "on campus." That is to say, the first year I lived in the dorms, then the next three years I lived in an apartment that was technically "on campus" but still 15 minutes walking from the Main Quad.

Dorms are fun but also suck for rule-reasons. Apartment on/near campus is the way to go.
