I've seen this posed a few different ways, like "Stranger (man) or bear", "strange man or bear", or just "man or bear". I interpret them all as if both the man and the bear are predators trying to kill me, rather than "maybe it's a nice man?". In any case, it's really not hard to see why women would choose the bear, given that (in both worst case scenarios) the bear would definitely be less creative with what it intended to do.

I'm so far behind (mostly my own fault for replaying stuff so much) that I might not play anything released this year. I've still only played like 3 games released last year, and none of them were BG3, RE4, Cyberpunk (never played at all but interested after the expansion), Alan Wake 2, etc.

Just speaking for NYC here but my uncle (a machinist for the city) always hated the garbagemen because (according to him) they were goofs who did their route (which took a few hours) and then just sat in the garage for the rest of the day. Also no garbageman makes base salary, a good Winter can bump them by tens of thousands of dollars.

Easy to see why my uncle was bitter about it, seems like a great job

A source close to the movie said the images help imagine the nationwide impact of the film's fictional war. "These are AI images inspired by the movie," a source said. "To clarify, they aren't movie posters, just images for Instagram. The entire movie is a big WHAT IF and so we wanted to continue that thought on social - powerful imagery of iconic landmarks with that dystopian realism."

Even if they're just for Instagram, this probably wasn't the best idea

I put a ton of time into Kingdom Come during lockdown in 2020. If you can get around the rough edges theres definitely some magic in there. Excited to see where they go next.

I remember quite well the week between eps of Arya getting knifed and Arya confronting the Waif / leaving the Faceless Men. Fan theories and conspiracies were running a mile a minute: "There's no way that was Arya, it had to be a patsy somehow wearing Arya's face to lure the Waif out!" Because there was just no way - no...fucking...way - that the show / writers would be so profoundly stupid as to have things play out at face-value.

I held on for quite a while thinking Arya must be dead and it was the Waif wearing her face. It made no sense but neither did what was on the screen.

I remember the first really terrible thing for me was Arya vs The Waif. That whole encounter (the chase after Arya was stabbed, The Waif acting like The Terminator) and Arya's departure made me think there was no way it was to be taken at face value because of how stupid it was. Everything just got worse from there.

I did one full playthrough of Fallout 4 + DLC's and have never been able to get back into it despite several attempts. Maybe this'll make me try again.
