We're knowingly planning to bring a child/children into a world on a climate timeline with various other catastrophes occurring or likely to occur that would be a miracle to survive and a burden to live through to say the least. Yeah, it's pretty fucked up to do that, but for what it's worth, we think we could produce children that could think critically and perhaps bring solutions to some of the problems facing humanity. --- *slips away unnoticed* |

For a number of years in my hometown, I would frequent a McDonald's that had regularly produced immaculately crafted burgers (for McDonald's, let's be real) but not all day, just around the evening until maybe midnight. I put it together eventually that it was due to the guy working in the back making the food. When he was around, the burgers were put together expertly, the fries were hot, everything was as perfect as you'd want from McDonald's. If he wasn't there, it was just run-of-the-mill garbage. He eventually stopped working there for whatever reason, and the food hasn't been the same since. Maybe you've got someone doing a good job there and you just gotta find out when they're on shift. --- *slips away unnoticed* |

Somehow it's worse if it's China and not Facebook?
