Why would you buy a 3DS in the first place if you didn't have interest in any of the games?

I really did get excited for Zelda, and Mario Kart was fun, but I don't find myself playing them anymore now that I've completed them. It's not a big deal to me to sell it out, I just want to be sure there wasn't some spectacular showing for it at E3..=\

I've had my 3DS since about August, and have played/beaten Zelda and Mario Kart. Mario Land looked fun, but not enough for me to want to pick it up, and nothing else (including Kid Icarus) really interests me right now. Is there anything that was maybe announced at E3 that looks to be promising? I'm considering selling it off and maybe picking one up again in the future if something big comes out for it, but right now I just don't see much use for it.

Thoughts?

From the outside looking in, yeah it's a total pain in the ass. Once you have it all in front of you, it's a LOT easier than it seems. Everything fits together in a very easy way, and the whole project of putting it together can be done in about an hour. It's actually quite simple. I would recommend it if you've got the time/money to put into it.

Finally, I've managed to piece together everything and have finished building/installing all of it to be able to enjoy it. This thing is indeed a monster of a computer, and I can't wait to get gaming on this thing. I'd just like to say a final thank you to Wang and everyone else who helped me to understand what I was doing, and even help narrow my selection down on many of the things I was looking at. You've all been a colossal-sized help, and I'm glad you guys took some time out to help me. I hope this inspires me to become more regular here on board 8 again (as pathetic as that may or may not sound) and hopefully I'll be playing some games with many of you.

Thanks again for all your wonderful help, everyone.

This is going to sound a lot worse than I'd like for it to, but the more cases I see, the more I feel anxious to grab the one I've got currently in my build. I really dig the design and it looks well ventilated and has fans a-plenty and cool LEDs. Just most everything about it seems cool with me.

As for the PSU, I feel a bit comfy with it because it has a 5 year warranty on it, and even if it's got a red LED, it seems to fit the bill at a great price. If I can get something else equally awesome or better at that price range, I'm all for it. That one specifically caught my eye for being 750W, pretty fair reviews and a trim price tag.

Wang! Oh, I'm so relieved. I wouldn't have felt at all assured about anything I picked up without first having heard your opinion. And after 3 fairly dead topics made without any input, I'm glad you managed to find this one.

I changed over the PSU to the 650W Gold Certified one, but I really kinda like the case, and the only other case that I thought looked cool really was the same price after the sale discount. As long as that case will work, I think I'm pretty set on it. Unless of course I'm missing out on a super secret website that specializes in selling off cool cases at a much lower price or something, but I'm not holding my breath on any such revelations.

And I changed the RAM to the one suggested by ILY. Saved me a couple bucks, but nothing crazily substantial. I trust you more than me when you say it's a better product though.

Grand total here is about $515 after shipping, and then $30 off from a promo code I used for the HDD. I might swoop up an SSD after a while, but I'm more eager to have everything up and going than to set myself back another week just to store my OS on a different drive. I'll probably see about one in the future though.

Okay, I'm in the buying phase of the rest of my computer sans the GPU which I'll be getting 2 weeks from now. I just need someone to look over this and tell me everything will be compatible and that nothing I'm buying is a piece of junk.

I've already picked up my i5 3570K and my

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

So now, the rest of my build is (tentatively) looking like this

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108376

Hard Drive (With $30 promo code): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171037

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231402

Disc Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135247

If everything here checks out, I'd like to have this purchased ASAP. I dont want to do it without some type of feedback from a few people more familiar with the subject material. Let me hear it!

So I've got my processor and motherboard now, and about $300 left to spend this check, though I'd be pretty broke if I spent all of it. Thinking I'm going to try to pick up as many more pieces of the final product that I can now, so that in two weeks when I get the GPU, I only have to pick up a couple things else. Should I go for the RAM now, or go for the case and PSU?

You don't have to be clutch. Just not be the very opposite of clutch. Don't shy away in the biggest moment.

Don't know if you caught it, but before the game tonight on ESPN, they had posted the career postseason stats of MJ, LeBron and Kobe "on game-tying or go-ahead shots in the final 24 seconds of the fourth quarter and overtime."

"In his playoff career, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant is 7-for-27 on game-tying or go-ahead shots in the final 24 seconds of the fourth quarter and overtime. That’s a field goal percentage of 25.9, which is below the league average of 27.2 percent, and pales in comparison to his teammates over that span." - ESPN.com

and in that segment on air tonight, they had shown that LeBron is roughly 33% and MJ was 41% in such situations. So, Kobe doesn't get any flak for being less clutch than LeBron, but having a few championships with his team mates makes him a better player?

And I just noticed that it has an optical audio output, which means I can use my Turtle Beach headset with it. This might be my mobo.

So with that out of the way, I'm pretty sure I'm actually going to pick up the GPU last, two weeks from now, and try and get the RAM and perhaps the case and PSU this week. That way I have most everything picked up and only have to get the GPU and HDD. (I have a spare code left on my Windows 7, so no need for an OS).

No, there aren't. It's that board at that price with the purchase of the 3570K. =\

4 USB 2.0s and 2 3.0s doesn't sound horrible though. At $90, like you said, it's hard to go against it. Sounds pretty legit if I can use that EVGA 670 GPU with it.

Just not at the end of the game....

He's not the best player in the league. Sorry, he's not. The best players win in big moments. I don't care if he averages a Triple Double someday (the way he stat pads, he probably will). He is STILL not the MVP till he does something in the playoffs. The MVP has not symbolized jack **** since 2008. And most of them clearly are his fault. All 3 games this playoffs were either mostly LeBron (tonight, good second half bro) or ALL on LeBron. (Letting Carmello blow him up, missed FT;s and disappearing act 2 days ago)

No matter how you would like to slice it, winning games are completely based around a TEAM effort, and this rule applies ten-fold in the post season. He can't do it on his own, which is WHY he went to Miami, and WHY this can be pinned up to the loss of Bosh and the lack of anything from Wade tonight. LeBron put forth a solid effort tonight. His TEAM came up short, but by no means can this be chalked up to his doing.

What does this have to do with Wade?

The fact that had Wade shown up with HALF of what he averages, the Heat likely would have won, or at least not lost by 20. You can't put every loss on LeBron when most of them CLEARLY aren't his fault. He didn't have a 'perfect' game, but who ever has, save for Chamberlain's 100 point fest? Hate the guy all you want, but at the end of the day he's better than any other current player in the league, and the MVP award solidifies and embodies that.

Ehhh, this isn't a very strong point in his favor. MVP in the NBA has became like the MVP in MLB, it's a joke award.

Based on what merit? LeBron was easily the best all-around player in the NBA again. KD was his only close rival, and he had about 6 less assists per game than LeBron, everything else was +/- 1-2 in each stat.

Alright, so tomorrow I get paid and plan on buying a couple pieces of the rig. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Core i5 3570K. It's still on sale at Microcenter, and I think I'm going to pick up the graphics card too, which at the present moment I'm leaning towards an NVIDIA GeForce 670.

http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0388577

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=NVIDIA+GeForce+670&x=0&y=0

That should be all for this week, and then two weeks from now I'll get most all if not everything else. I figure with the processor and GPU out of the way, I can probably get a motherboard, RAM, HDD, Power supply, disc tray and case for close to what I'll have on my next check.

To clarify, to use both the processor and GPU above, I need a motherboard with both PCI 3.0 and LGA 1155? Anyone recommend a good mobo for a good cost?
