The guy who did it is also a coach that trains female powerlifters that have to compete with the trans powerlifter. He mostly did it to make it obvious how flawed/abusable the rules of entry are. You state you're a woman and enter the women's catagory regardless of any other proof/history/treatment.

On one hand it was still a fucked up thing for him to do, but on the other hand it was probably a necessary thing to codify the rulings to be more specific.

I mean it's obvious the guy entering the women event wasn't doing it in good faith, but nonetheless when you make the rules for entering into a sport so vague and general you open yourself up for these type of things. There should absolutely be some part of the rule showing that the person who wants to participate in a women sport is doing it in good faith and is being serious about it.

I watched the Internet Historian video of it and it was hilarious. I think he used an excuse that he was trying to show it to his family or something? I don't remember all the details, but man I wish it was something I could watch it happen live lol.

Shareholders won't care beyond that, most people don't even know Denuvo is negatively impacting the game since most people don't know what to look for or know to even look for anything

This, anti-piracy stuff like Denuvo is just a corporations way to take liability off their backs when it comes to piracy.

Yeah you're definitely right about Illumination being better at marketing their films. I can't imagine if this movie went to a more competent studio like Dreamworks or Pixar that it would perform even as well as it's doing now. Almost all of Illumination Studios movie had a bigger marketing budget than the actual production budget, which is why I consider them more of a marketing studio than an animation one.

Eh, it still kinda does. The are only a few movies, like Mario, that are the exception to the rule.

Yeah I'm surprised it's doing this well. I don't think even Nintendo predicted it was going to make gangbusters like this. Sonic nor Detective Pikachu couldn't even hit these numbers.

It wasn't my cup of tea, but it grew on me. I can't help but feel maybe the same would happen to Big Mouth, but it feels like the "gross out art style" maybe the entire point of the show or something.

You're right about Bojack's art style being more simplified in comparison to Big Mouth. I thought the animal characters look alright, but it's some of the human characters seem kind of off imo. But at least the human characters look better than Big Mouth.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the art style I might've given it a chance. I felt the same way about Bojack Horseman's art style, but at least that show didn't make me feel like I want to barf watching it.

The second movie was poopoo while the first movie at least had some decent fight chereography, especially the first one when he takes out the mafia in that room. Not looking forward to it, unless it gets good word of mouth.

Got as far as the first Mission where you fight Sonja as Max. So far all S ranks except for the Blizzard battle with Olaf, got a B rank. That mission, so far, is the hardest to get a S rank. He throws soo much units at your face. I'm honestly glad his rocket units stay behind, because that would've made the mission almost unplayable lol.

It's probably the only MCU show that was able to land on its feet with its finale. It's overall an average show, a lot of the djinn stuff wasn't well thought out imo, but in comparison to the other MCU shows it's a step above all of them in terms of quality.

Hey thanks for the heads up. Pretty great chapter. I laughed when Dragona was telling them to not steal anything other than the diamond and they were already fully packed with stuff they stole. Lots of great mystery so far as well, I'm fully engaged with these guys so far. I hope Araki can keep up the momentum.

Yeah it's honestly a show that doesn't age well imo. Not only is it an incredibly emo as shit show but even the fanservice is lol worthy as well. The only thing that aged well is its incredibly animation and choreography in some of the fight scenes. With that said, I watched a video that brought context in how Evangelion revolutionized the Mecha genre for its time (when it was being rather stale and samey) and for that I'm grateful, hence why you see anime tackle the same themes as Evangelion but better.

Princess Monoke is the only one I recognize from your list so that one.

Honestly this. I have friends that grew up in healthy family households and still do dumb shit. No doubt Parents should get some of the blame, but there are times when children and teenagers are the real ones that should get some or most of the blame for doing dumb shit like this. Some kids/teenagers are just pieces of shits.

I had a friend (in context, was the first guy I met in my homeroom in my freshman year) from highschool that joined a gang because he wanted to be (in his words) a "pimp master" even though he grew up in a wealthy household. He would even admit to me he did stuff like this to be "be a G" and because his parents were lame. The unfortunate news happened that he got sentenced to Jail because he (and some accomplices) killed an old couple while robbing them. Even up to this day, I share some guilt because I never told anyone that he joined a Gang, because I didn't want to be a "snitch" and a "loser". If I had, I probably could've saved him from going to Jail...or not.

Oh lame, according to some reviews, multiplayer battles don't even let you compete against strangers, it's only friend battles and it's limited to 1v1. Still not a dealbreaker, but that is disapointing.

I am, huge AW fanboy. Would have preferred a sequel to Days of Ruins, but the fact we are getting any AW game is a W for me at this point.

As much as I think the first movie was just average at best, it does have some of the coolest and imaginative action set pieces I've seen in a CGI heavy movie like this.

But yeah this movie had a total of 7 test screenings, something incredibly unheard of. My friend was one of the unlucky ones to actualy watch the movie. He's under a NDA not to disclose it but he did give me his review about the new sequel it's about Aquaman taking care of his son. The dynamic really falls apart because Mera is barely in the movie and barely has any speaking roles, which was specifically because of the court case, so it's mostly a Son and Father movie without any real chemistry. He also says it's very cliched and predictable and the action scenes are on the level of bad as Matrix Ressurections. He gave it the lowest score he could give it.

Yeah I'm having a hard time believing he went on a shooting spree because a basketball rolled up on his yard, he probably was already mentally unstable to begin with and this gave him an excuse (in his mind) to act on it. I hope he gets arrested.
