Pics of sandwich? I mean if it's big enough it makes sense but...somehow I doubt it's a generous portion.

it's hard to strike the right balance. when they raise mininum wage. everything else goes up too.
much more than what mininum wage increase gives.

Panera Bread was always overrated, so not surprised at the insane pricing as well tbh.

Ive never liked going to Panera due to how high their prices are compared to the amount you get. They try to market themselves as a premium restaurant, but its basic fast food.

I only went there once and thought the food was gross.

Look at the calories though. I would share that with my kid then get some sides. But yeah still too expensive for what it is. Last time we went I spent like 50 bucks between the 3 of us (wife and child)

i knew someone that worked at the first panera, she said it was terrible and the management was equally terrible.

a lot of upper management would visit that location to eat and they were also trash to the staff

Panera is probably the most overrated large food chain. I always feel fucking robbed when someone convinces me to go there.

when I started my new job, they bought us Panera for lunch the first day and went out for a sit down lunch the second day

my order of a chicken sandwich with a half salad came to $20 at Panera

the next day I got a pork schnitzel sandwich with a side salad at an actual restaurant and it was like $13

Its just too expenzive

I usually just buy small things like bagels, soups, cookies or a drink while there.

And when my credit card is giving me 10% back at panera then those are pretty good deals for me.

Yet still cheaper than subway for the same amount of food.

I've never been the "______ was never good" type, but in this case, Pantera was never good.

This is a pic from a video review I found on YouTube for the Panera steak panini. Its $13.19 for something smaller than your hand.

According to Google, the Subway ultimate steak foot long is $11.49. And a Subway foot long is more comparable to your forearm than your hand.

Say what you want about foot quality, but you absolutely get more from Subway.

Panera is garbage and I'll never understand why people like it as much as they do. Like I have no issue you spending money on food, but at that price it needs to be good food or at least a shitload of it. Panera is priced liked it's high-end food and tastes and is portioned like it's cheap fast food.

Lol, this is not the result of minimum wage increasing. Panera has always been pricey. They did have some good food to be sure, but it was always a minimum of $20 to $25 for my wife and I to go there even as far back as 10+ years ago.

Did you guys not get that I was just messing around in this topic? I just temporarily edited their prices on their websight and took a screenshot of it.
