It sure does. Because for all this hatred towards the white man, none of it would have been possible if the Africans didn't sell their own people as slaves to begin with. It doesn't fit the narrative of "it's all the white man's fault" so black people often conveniently forget about that part.

And let's not forget that slavery was still legal in Africa long after it was abolished in America and Europe, and even though it's supposedly illegal everywhere now, it's still quite common throughout Africa.

The main "providers" of slaves were the Africans that sold other Africans to the Europeans.

You're omitting huge parts of the story here to suit your narrative. America wasn't exactly doing that out of generosity. The Marshall Plan largely consisted of LOANS, not gifts. And it was in America's interest to prevent the ravaged Europe from falling into the Soviet Union's sphere of influence. At the same time, it created a market for America to sell their mass-produced goods to. So you can keep pretending that it was America being "charitable", but it was fueled by nothing but American self-interest.

It sounds like it's really damn easy to determine who's telling the truth. The cops say the man was reaching for one of their guns. The fiancee says the man was turning away from the cops. Just look at the entry wounds. If they're on the front of his body, he was probably going for the cop's gun. If they're in the back of his body, then he was probably turning away from the cops as the fiancee claims.

If they were having a verbal argument and he wasn't getting physical in any way, then why the fuck did his fiancee call the cops on him? She literally called them there. They resolve the situation. And then she throws them under the bus like it's not her fault that they were there to begin with.

How are we ever supposed to move forward as a people when everyone keeps dredging up the past?

By leveraging states rights and increasing Black American population in the South Eastern region of the USA the Black American homeland can be a reality.

Other groups of people would be free to live in the region but Black Americans would be the majority with a "Great Migration" back into this region. The federal government could/should work with Black Americans to facilitate this plan while allocating resources and federal land holdings for development

With majority numbers and strong states rights Black Americans would be able to govern and police themselves while sustaining a strong Black run economy from farms to transportation of produce, supermarkets, manufacturing, media etc.

Although Black Americans would have majority numbers, they'd be able to govern in a way that provides freedom justice and equality to all people within the region and is in accordance with the Constitution.

Beat down the riot by force and hope it scares the populace enough to not do it again. Or at least make sure that the consequences for the rioters are so impactful that they'll think twice about doing it again. It's not pretty, but it's the only way I can think of.

I'm fine with the peaceful protests. I agree that there should be consequences if a cop kills someone for no good reason. They're not supposed to be judge, jury and executioner. They're just supposed to bring the suspect in so the legal system can do its work. But the rioting, looting, vandalism and outright destruction that's going on right now is way out of line and should be dealt with appropriately IMO.
