people seem to underestimate the worth of continuous productivity.

seems like people who go broke from massive winnings are usually people who quit any type of productivity cold turkey not knowing that is what kept them going to begin with and continuously try to fill the void left over with money spending until there's nothing left.

it's a bit telling when rich people still keep themselves busy somehow and aren't just resting and partying until retirement age and beyond.

Honestly I would probably work harder

For a little while so I don't raise suspicion. Eventually I'd quit and get a part time and work on improving my own health, as well as taking care of my older family members. I'd also like to help revitalize my hometown.

yes, I would keep working, but put absolutely zero effort in. I would just walk around and talk to my coworkers, take a long lunch, hang out by the coffee machine, etc. if they want to fire me, that's cool. then I'd get a job a subway and do the same thing; talk to the customers and give them way too much meat on their sandwiches and in general dick around.

You probably could just pay someone to invest some of your money on the stock market and make a healthy profit that way. I don't see why you'd ever need to work again if you win 40+ million and you don't go on an insane spending spree.
