starting to panic a little because I just spent (wasted) the past 5 hours trying to get through a brutal challenge with nothing to show for it. Only made it to the last round one time... and it's not even the toughest of the challenges!!!

Kind of panicking a little because I never had anywhere near this trouble in Remake and my team is maxed out, my materia loadout is optimal, feels like the only solution is to git gud. not great, not great at all.

Well, going to give it another dozen or two cracks tomorrow and if I can't then it'll wait until after I've completed all other platinum requirements I guess.

By the 4th time Cloud mistook someone for Sephiroth and swung at him I was checked out. Honestly he's such a innescapable presence here that it almost feels like parody, like Sephiroth was gonna show up on the other side of a Queen's Blood table or in a Chocobo race.

I mostly think it shows how dumb Sephiroth is. It took him 30+ years to figure out who his mom was? He didn't question it at all until seeing this a sign on a door? He's never read a book before? He has the backstory of a typical 14 year old protagonist who goes on to save the world, but because he only discovered this during his mid-life crisis, he became a villain.

They let go of all their animators once work on the last volume and two movies was complete - it was very unlikely to get finished in house.
