Congrats! Daddy Guacamole is the first real wall the game throws at you and it's where a lot of new players struggle. Consider yharnam to be your tutorial and training area, the game opens up considerably from here.

I don't want to backseat, but am curious - how thoroughly do you intend to experience the game's content? There are is a lot of optional content off of the main path, and some of it is very easy to walk right past.

I moved from Comcast to Verizon back in June.

It was a huge pain in the ass, i had to call Comcast multiple times to get it canceled. Returning the equipment was simple enough, but the billing and customer support were nightmarish. At one point they tried telling me that it was impossible to cancel both my internet and cable and they could only cancel one at a time. At a different point they canceled me then immediately signed me up for another plan without my agreement, which i only realized when i logged into my account.

I've seen a number of psa's that even if you get one of the vaccines you're going to want to act as though you have asymptomatic covid - don't get into unnecessary contact with people, take precautions etc. I'm sure it's tempting to try to return to a normal life though. Definitely a challenge ahead

Mentally? Not quite, but it's up there and set me back on some progress I'd been making with my therapist.
Physically? Again, not quite, but it was definitely a couple steps back.
Financially? No, in fact it's been one of my best.

None of my close loved ones have died, I haven't lost any pets, I haven't lost my job, I didn't have any bad breakups.

Overall it hasn't been great for me personally, but I've had worse years.

I loved all of these games a crazy amount, and put over 140 hours in Witcher 3. I should probably get the DLC.

The DLCs are easily the best parts of the game, so yeah get them and love them
