I take issue with this, too. Derivative options are inherently risky, as we've seen with the past week, but arguing that there's no special benefits seems misplaced to me.

Calls and puts are options that can be leveraged for different risk portfolios.

(All that being said I do think that the stock market is a dumb thing and creating value out off nothing is silly money magic)

The Green/White/Black Elves deck I had yesterday didn't do nearly as well as I'd hoped at 4-3, but this Green/Red/Black Snow deck with Tibalt, two Svella's, and tons of removal did great! 7-2

It ended on a great note, where I top-decked my 7th land to play tibalt, exiled one of the opponent's creatures, an got an instant-concede.

I think I enjoyed early Ikoria more, I had a lot of fun with mutate before cycle got out of hand. But overall I'm definitely leaning positive for this format.

As someone who has literally not given a shit about investing outside of educational reasons and retirement funds, I'm not wild about Fidelity's UI. I've only used it through chrome and it's a little buggy and slow.

As far as features go, like I said I've got nothing to really compare to so I'll be curious what others' views are.

I'm unsure how you can think this after seeing the Georgia runoff. We're not getting many Republicans on our side any time soon (see above article) so attracting non-voters with popular policies and showing them that government can do things for them is imo one of the best things we can do.

If Republicans like Mike Pompeo think that multiculturalism is antithetical to American values, then compromise would likely exclude or disadvantage people of color. Biden pacifying the rights racial resentment could just end up reinforcing the belief that the country has achieved racial equality or even that weve gone too far, and white people are now the ones who are disadvantaged.

But changing these destabilizing trends is probably something that needs to start from the right. Thats because many of the beliefs and behaviors threatening American democracy started earlier and are more pronounced on that end of the political spectrum. Yes, both sides engage in dehumanization, delegitimization and conspiracy-mongering, but both sides have not gone about it in the same way, or at the same rate.

Politicians do a lot of bullshit because of what they feel they need to do to stay elected. Which, in a way, makes sense... their positions does exist to give a voice to the people they represent. But, I mean, at some point you should be able to tell your people you represent they are being dumb too.

The issue is that people had those positions in the first place because politicians they trusted told them to have those positions!

URL says it all, really. Further in they point out that of the $1M, nearly $400k went to a law firm where the head of the state GOP works. Granted, $1M is barely anything in the grand scheme of things, but the dems really need to work on improving local politics and not get complacent because they won at the national level.
