Oh i don't remember. I tried splashing blue because i had the +1/+1 if you draw a second card and i had tons of ways to do that with red. I had some fixing and my mana was never really an issue despite going 3 colors. But the guys i lost to had really cohesive drafts that synergized well.

Mostly i just wanted to vent.

But in general, if you are given two top tier bombs in pack 2 picks 1 and 2, is it worth pivoting completely? Or do you ignore them and try to stick with your original plan? What are your rules of thumb here? It seems silly to me to base your entire deck strategy off of the pack that happens to be the first one you open. But obviously you need to be careful and mindful about it, which i was not. I didn't even settle on GR splash blue until after i lost the first game and cut out my black splash

As others have mentioned, banning them has a negligible environmental impact because most pollution is from large companies, not your average Joe.

Banning them also puts more stress into the lives of disabled people, so it's rather ableist to just write straw users off as either babies or elderly.

I won every game I drew my questing beast, lost every game that i did not. Never once drew the wildborn preserver.

I think the rest of my play and deck construction was garbage, given that i had both of those cards from the draft though. Feels bad.

Adaptive triggers sound pretty cool. Any idea how that actually works? Like it mentions a bowstring or accelerating as an example. Does that just mean something like pressing/holding it lightly will result in a slower pull and slower acceleration while a fast press/hold will be reflected by the action being performed much faster?

I took it to mean that the developer can program how tense the button actually is, ie how much pressure you'll need to press it in.

What you're describing just sounds like pressure-sensitive controls which we've had for a long time, so that wouldn't be impressive.

That's how I've seen it described as well.

I've never played sealed before Eldraine so it very well could be ass compared to others, but i don't have that point of reference.

The main pain point for me during the prerelease was one guy got Garruk out on turn 5 in both of the bo3 games so there was absolutely nothing I could do there. I was able to deal with Oko and the 2 mana flash reach guy without too much hassle.

I did a prerelease sealed for the first time ever at the local comic store, had a pretty good time despite going 1-3. Could have easily been 3-1 if I'd just played around things better. Oh well!

I haven't played much since Allegiance, so I'm missing basically every card from m20 and War... I don't have much incentive to get into standard right now so I'll probably just keep on doing Eldraine limited for the time being.

people really don't like forbidden woods, they complain about getting lost. I think it's a master class in area design. for example; you start at the top of the level and gradually make your way down toward the base. even if you don't realize it, as long as you're always moving downward in elevation you're not really lost... because you're actually going in the right direction. eventually you reach the river. the natural instinct of humans is to follow water, and the river leads you right the boss. seriously amazing design.

I agree entirely. Forbidden woods is top tier.

I'm not sure what my favorite ds2 area would be... it's been too long since I've really gone through it.

Ds3 is the one I've replayed the least because it's so streamlined and all of the weapons feel so same-y and the combat arts do basically nothing and the bosses aren't all that much fun as they're just big hp sponges with multiple phases.

Oh i did forget about the bastille... and heide's... yeah ok there's a lot of changes. I just hated the foggy forest the most because the area before the boss really sucks for most builds in the game if you enjoy killing the enemy mobs.

Iirc the scholar changes are generally minor, besides the foggy forest and how the dlc items are handled.

Ds2 weapons feel better than ds3 weapons, imo. And the fashion is a lot more viable.

Majula theme is the best hub tune.
