This unfortunately isn't immediately fixable and can be for a number of reasons. Maybe you need a fan, or melatonin, or temperature changes, mattress, etc. -- what you can do is try and get to a regular sleep schedule. For example, if you crawled into bed at 2am for the past six months, you're not going to just crawl into bed tonight and be able to fall asleep right at 11pm. Your body isn't ready for that. You've got to taper off slowly. Get into bed at 1:30am for the next few nights, then 1am, 1230, etc. -- slowly work yourself backwards. Introduce other habits too for "winding down" before bed. Common things are like no screens 20 mins before bed, read a chapter of a book (actual paper, not a tablet or kindle or anything). It's less stressful on your eyes. DoGCyN posted... Document the issues and frustrations and follow up regularly. This falls under the work this where if you can't get something done due to system limitations, you can prove that you aren't just slacking off and that you've been asking for assistance and getting done. A lot like sleeping, you've gotta build up to it. Quitting shit food is hard because it's cheap and easy. But make a grocery list, deliberately plan out what your meals will be for the week, and treat yourself to some shit once a weekend or something. Take it from me who just moved somewhere with no fast food chains in the area, I really don't miss it anymore, but when I go back into the cities, you bet your ass I go ham once in a while on taco bell and it's more enjoyable because I haven't had it in forever. I had rotator cuff surgery over a year ago and the physical therapy just doesn't seem to be helping anymore. I will never be able to properly throw a baseball again if this continues, and there is a chance my shoulder is permafucked.This is tougher because obviously American healthcare is fucked.
