there is a monumental difference between someone who has been on screen for nearly 30 years and only very recently stepping into a executive role vs tony fucking khan the rock storyline was going to occur regardless of him being on the board or not, he was supposed to face roman last year, and to my surprise him being in the picture somehow elevated cody and seth to an even higher level (roman definitely got little bro'd during the whole thing, but who wouldnt be next to the rock honestly) SCSA vs Vince only worked because of the starpower of SCSA and because Vince actually at least put in SOME effort, the bucks vs tk does not have either of those advantages --- O))) |

They're doing this so they can introduce a kayfabe authority figure which will probably be Kenny Omega or Bryan Danielsoni dont think TK needs to be on screen with some of the worst selling ever in order to create a GM role all he has to do is just angle the bucks abusing their power and then punish them via introducing a kayfabe GM but that would require TK to actually be minimally competent at booking --- O))) |

Yea that is a part of why I couldn't get into AEW it just seemed more obviously fake/planned than usual. Maybe there is a term for it but watching the matches felt like dancing. They have a set of moves planned to do with partner.AEW is Tony Khan playing with action figures the storylines suck and despite what nerds will tell you, story matters booking dream matches like ospreay vs danielson with no context doesnt draw --- O))) |
