In fellowship of the ring, bilbo looks at frodo's ring and does that terrifying face, and it's the only jump scare and most scary thing in the entire trilogy so why does it exist when its not a jump scare series?

And why only now when bilbo seemed completely fine to frodo and everyone for 50 years without muttering my precious. Not even to Gandalf

He never met Morales, from what I remember. I don't think Morales even was introduced til after Peter's death.

Oh but later Morales traveled to the main marvel universe. He is like the only survivor from when his universe got erased. He is well acquainted now with main adult Peter Parker.
Wait do marvel do that whole dc thing of brand new universe every few years like new 52 and Flashpoint and final crisis and rebirth, or is it the same characters this whole time.

Basically, is miles the same miles since his introduction in like 2011 with minimal changes?

What I find interesting about this movie is that its directed by Rebecca Hall, from the prestige movie and some other roles. While Rebecca is English and definitely looks English and white, she actually has mixed parentage and black ancestry on her mother's side, like her mother's grandfather or something not sure. So I think the subject of this movie is personal to her and something she might have familiarity with. It's also pretty cool that she went into directing.

I'm usually hesitant about black and white movies, but what I like about it is how smart it uses the color scheme to contrast different people's skin tones in the same shot.

Its more of a slow period piece, but the main characters keep you engaged

In 1920s America, and Ruth negga plays the character trying to live in the white man's world by trying to "pass" off as white, and then the main character Tessa Thompson sees this and sees how conflicted she ends up being.

It was ok but I hated the ending, I was liking the movie especially the powerful critique until that
