That's how relationships should work, but it's not the way they do work in reality. If you're older than 20 and still a virgin, you lie and say it's been a while, or what happened to TC will happen to you 99% of the time. It sucks but it's just the way things are. No need to be depressed about it, just recognize it and change your behavior accordingly

I don't think this is necessarily true BUT I feel like a lot of people in this situ see 'honesty' as 'stream of consciousness outpouring of every insecurity and issue attached to their virginity upon being given the opportunity to do so'. I think if you approach these things normally with a partner then it's not an issue.

I still recall a period when I tried to force myself to be a Brony. I'm not proud of that nowadays.

I could see a lot of people being in the same boat. Big new 'thing' becomes popular, people try get in on the ground floor etc.

At most i tried to be even handed at the time re bronies but they were/are honestly painfully obnoxious. I actually caught a bit of an ep months later and was kinda bemused this has captivated so many grown adults.

What the hell kind of gym costs ~$200 a month?

I used to work with people who used to pay similar for what iirc were pretty fancy gyms. They were from well off families anyway but still, seemed crazy to me. Think it usually includes a personal trainer which bumps the price.
