There was also the whole thing that was hinted at throughout the episode that people who uploaded and died start to become a bit more hollow and one dimensional as time goes on. I seem to recall one character mentioning how they didn't view them as real people anymore.

Yup. I'm one the assholes who goes through the medical records and determines if they qualify. Been doing it for eight years, I hate my job, and I am actively seeking out other opportunities.

On the contrary I'd absolutely recommend trying to get off of it if you can find work that you can do. It's a lot better than getting booted off of it and not knowing what to do next.

If they're still having issues it's not usually a problem at the redetermination level. Schizophrenia is a pretty distinct case from something like an anxiety or depressive disorder. The gains someone can be expected to make through the course of treatment is a fair bit less.

The instances I'm speaking of are people who get off off it because they no longer qualify. You'll see this a lot with people who received benefits as a child but don't qualify as an adult.

Light beer I usually drink pints. If it's a slightly higher alcohol content (like 6-7%) it's 12 ounces, so it's kinda even on that front.

2 for a light buzz. Good for most weekdays.
3 is the turning point. If I stop there, I'll probably be asleep within the hour.
4 is party mode. No need to slow down at that point. It's probably also what I'd define as slightly drunk, but that's a wildly subjective term.

Nope.

They're pretty clear at the begining that it doesn't effect anything. Although I think if you pick Very Easy you can't change it later.

For a first timer, normal is probably about right. Hard was good for me because I've played 3 and 4, and have been looking forward to this game for years.

Hard will just mean that combats will take longer, be more brutal, and more than a couple of mistakes and you're screwed. You'll also have to manage your resources better.

A lot of the battle mechanics are far more casualized. like free hit on ANY elemental exploit, even if you hit a reflect in the process, Futaba giving you random buffs, and the baton pass system (or MC-followup, if you've got good social link).

For these reasons, I might recommend playing on hard. I don't have anything to compare it to, but during my playthrough all of these things were essential to being able to get through it.

There were so many moments when I'd be about to wipe, make a desperate last ditch attempt, fail, then have my boy Ryuji be all like "hey, it's now or never, right?!"

My ass gets saved and I'm like FUCK YEAH! You're my boy!!!

Long story short, consider playing on hard.

I just beat it last weekend, five months to the day after I started it.

Amazing game in so many ways.

My final saved completion time was 130 hours. That's a good bit longer than most people. Not sure why there was such a difference. I was playing it on hard so imagine I spent at least 50% more time in combat.

Won't get involved in any waifu debate. Sealed the deal with five of them, but there was always one who got the most attention. I even studied with them when they asked, even though I had maxed the skill and their social link.
