Around 4 to get things rolling. Could make a list of the higher quality beer I enjoy but if we're on a budget, I'll roll with PBR

Depends on what beer I am drinking. Miller/Bud Light and it'll be 6+ beers, some craft beer will be 3-4 beers, assuming 12 oz is one beer.

I prefer wheat beers. Love me some Oberon and Blue Moon and German style wheat beers.

"Slightly"? Probably two. I'm a real lightweight.

Legit don't remember the last time I've had a "can" of beer though. I stopped drinking the pisswater (bud, coors, miller) after college, and the higher-quality stuff usually only comes in bottles.

This.

Also, I usually can't drink enough beer to get drunk before feeling gross from drinking that much beer.

"drunk slightly" is very subjective

Id say 4 gives me a buzz

7-8 get me slightly drunk

11-12 gets me drunk

2 within 30 minutes.

This, I don't drink more than 2-3 beers in a sitting so 2 will give me a buzz. I don't drink piss though, I drink something half decent like Leinenkugel but it's only 5.4%

Depends upon the alcohol content of the beer. There are so many types out there, and they can have huge swings in abv.

While it's true that the best beer is all bottled, it seems misguided as cans keep beer fresher than bottles do. They're basically as close to a keg that you can get without getting an actual keg.

but also I've literally never gotten drunk off beer. I just can't seem to drink beer fast enough to get drunk.

Probably 3 would get me buzzing.

wtf

my local breweries make a concerted effort to can their beers, to the extent that they partnered with some company in a different state to do so.

I actually can't get my favorite beer from one place except canned or in a growler

there's no answer to this, btw, I feel my very first beer but I drink steel reserve which is pretty high ABV and I drink incredibly fast (maybe 6 minutes for my first beer)

Light beer I usually drink pints. If it's a slightly higher alcohol content (like 6-7%) it's 12 ounces, so it's kinda even on that front.

2 for a light buzz. Good for most weekdays.
3 is the turning point. If I stop there, I'll probably be asleep within the hour.
4 is party mode. No need to slow down at that point. It's probably also what I'd define as slightly drunk, but that's a wildly subjective term.

Depends on the ABV. Stuff like Miller/Bud Light, a full 6-pack to feel anything. Any 10% and above beer will hit me after 2.

It takes at least a full 6 pack of light beer to get me buzzing, fuller beers take 3-4

If I'm on an empty stomach subtract about 2 beers for either category.

Yeah, the breweries around here that offer anything besides growlers bottle.

Idk why. Is it cheaper to bottle?

Okay I did some investigating, and apparently depending on your size, the cost of glass in bottling is cheaper than aluminum. But aluminum is lighter than glass, so if you are a macro-brewery, aluminum saves you much more in transportation costs and the like.

But cans are better for beer from the perspective of having it last, so it would make sense that your local brewery might spring more to get it canned.
