Watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners and I want to eat your Pancreas

Pancreas Movie was actually very meh, like a 5/10. Like the first hour or so is so boring. It wasnt until the twist that it got interesting, but by that time, I was over it

Edgerunners was pretty fucking good. That Studio Trigger goodness, cool, fun, badass, neat world building, simple story executed pretty well Id say. There were a lot of moments where I got FLCL vibes too. Overall 9/10. If they have another season or series, Im all over it .

The Final Pantheon wouldnt be so bad if it cut out like 8-10 bosses because some are redundant. If you can beat Hornet or the powered up Dreamnail Bosses, theres no point in having the weaker version early in the pantheon

Would shave off like 5 mins in a normally 35 min run

Beaten absolutely everything except AR on Radiant. Shit feels so damn random and fast for a no-hit fight

I'll never understand people who think 15 is better than 13.

All 15 has is good music, graphics and vibe. Going around the area with your bros to various gas stations and exploring the surrounding area is actually pretty chill. Everything else is absolute crap except like one dungeon

For the most part Sandopolis has sand blocks or some sort of obstacle keeping you from speeding into a early death. Cant say the same for the rest of the game tho. Most instakill crushers telegraph via sound or already blocking you beforehand, but Lava Reef Act 2 is bad about it tbh

I've done a little retrospective the past 2 months or so, just running through every path, till I felt confident enough to run it proper

Marble Garden and Sandopolis are the most dangerous, and Mushroom Hill and beyond... every level gets to the point where you are kinda cruising cuz you passed all the hardest stuff. Death Egg is tricky until you reach the Portal Path thingy

I messed up once getting the normal emeralds, but messed up like 5 times in a row on the super emeralds. Didnt get them until Sandopolis

I did mess up few times on the special stages, must have failed like 6 times

?????? Arise was good? Game was trash, and I made it bearable adding in multiplayer. The start is fun and then it falls off HARD. Either people aren't playing on unknown and saying how great it is because it's easy peasy, or they're playing on unknown and realizing how crappy the game is.

I believe it was a good game with a # of prominent shortcomings and issues. I enjoyed my time despite those but pretty much as soon as I got the platinum, I dropped it hard and haven't touched it since February

Also I avoided Hard and higher cuz I knew it was gonna be a bad experience. IIRC the game doesn't provide a suitable reward for higher difficulty so it's a pass for me. Moderate was good enough

Arise was good fun but I'm ready for the next game

Yeah the achievement cleanup was a little annoying, but I just stuck to Normal and turned off dialog and voices, and speedblitzed it. I saved the final Ch.9 run for Hard Mode at a much later time for the yearso that some of the game was out of my mind

Did you like the enemy variety?

I started it a month ago after keeping a eye on it for several years. Absolutely worth it. Got it for 10 bucks + 10$ DLC and I'm at 130 hours 1st playthrough (Credits around 70-80) and working on the Arena

Currently my GotY.

If you are just doing the Story, no sidequests/minimum exploration, it's like 30 hours. You can probably 100% in like 70 hour tho

Are ones I've at least tried. I think I've only played like 8 PC games in all my life, Halo PC being the one of the reasons reason why Halo is so high

Also I def don't like Sonic CD besides music and animation

Not counting wii sports, I don't think I've played a sports game since NFL Blitz / NBA 2K1 on the Dreamcast

Also I rewatched The Girl who leapt through time again. Still holds up. I think it's a pretty good movie

Its almost out!

I watched Summer Wars after seeing Belle a few weeks ago.

It was actually a fun movie!

Although that was the second movie in a row I've seen where millions/billions of people put all their credentials and government level powers in a single piece of software.

I kinda like my RPGs figured out <_< , so I probably won't play it until next year

As much as I ended up loving Xenoblade X, the first month or so was annoying as fuck.

I've been eyeballing this game since 2015, and I finally got around to playing it.

Minor Cons:

- There's a visual glitch that makes it hard to tell how much SP you actually have
- The pacing around the 3rd/4th Temples felt drawn out.
- The game hyped up the 'Raid' far too hard, even though it was fun.
- I think the main plot takes a little too long to actually kick in
- Only downside to dungeons is that there is no central connectivity for the most part. I like when a dungeon mechanic alters the state or layout of the dungeon itself.
- Upgrading/ Getting new equipment doesnt really feel as good as it should be. I guess because most equipment boasts playstyles over raw stats, so sometimes you come across gear that's slighly stronger but has drawbacks against your preferred playstyle

Major Cons:

- Gaia's Garden is the biggest area, almost too big, but it is the least interesting area
- The Ending felt rushed and in the context of the DLC, made it seem unfinished unless you buy it.
- Too much food in treasure chests. Less food, more rare material or gear.

Minor Pros:

- Very pretty and fluid pixel art
- All areas, except one, feel unique
- Puzzle Bosses and enemies...90% are neat and its fun to figure out how to properly defeat them.
- All the dungeons are unique and very fun
- Ally AI is very strong, no need to babysit
- Supporting cast is pretty good, don't really dislike anyone in this game

Major Pros:

- The blend of combat, puzzles and platforming rivals that of AAA games. The game does a terrific job making you feel great in everything you do.
- Love the soundtrack. Lots of Zelda, Pokemon, and Pikmin vibes, but still it's own thing.
- While not every quest is interesting plotwise, a lot of them are very unique and feature fun fights or minigames

- The game got a laugh out me numerous times. Game is pretty funny at times.
- Lea, the MC, is a better, more emotive character than most jrpg characters, even tho she can only say a few words. Also, she's sassy af. Great Character.
- NG+ in the style of the average Tales of game...but actually good.
- This game has quite a few badass scenarios that felt like it came from a MegaMan Zero or Metroid game.

Overall: 8.5

Loved this game! Dont know why I waited this long to play it, but it was absolutely worth it. Already put in 90+ hours, and is currently my GOTY. Honestly if the end section was done a bit better this would have been a easy 9.

I really want to play it, but I'm kinda holding out on a XIII collection. I wouldn't mind all 3 games with all the DLC and QoL features

I enjoyed XIII, one of the few who don't hate it.

Just got the Shock Element and about to do the second part of the area.

This game is badass

I guess I'm past half way, but it's a little hard to tell

It took me a playthrough and a half to figure out how to use XCX's Overdrive

I'll miss the Xenoblade direct, so hopefully they show some cool stuff.

I remember when XCX had a hope bunch of 20 info videos, it it was pretty hype (when they were fan translated)

I know the Weapons arent really mechanized, but I wish we could infiltrate it from within and it acts like a mini dungeon.

One of my favorite things in video games is fighting some giant mech from the outside, then busting in and fucking up the main system

They have the original songs for the 3 zones before MJ and his drummer(?) came in to compose.

S3&K losing out to the 2nd half of its soundtrack is a wait for me. I need my Ice Cap and Launch Base

I finally watched Belle...

It wasnt as good as wanted it to be. Felt kinda rushed and all over the place at times.

U is definitely the best song, already stuck in my head. Gale of Song was cool too. The other songs are ok.

The Story hasnt really hit yet, but the balance of combat, puzzles, and platforming feels so good.

besides towns, everywhere feels like a well thought out dungeon

Not really, tbh. DNF Duel comes out in 10 days, but even tho I enjoyed both betas, Im not too fond of buying fighting games day 1 with the potential of multiple dlc seasons

Sonic Origins comes out next week, and normally Id be very hype for it, But the confirmation of the S3&K music being changed left a sour taste in my mouth, and I dont wanna pay 40 bucks for it, even tho it can be modded in.

Ill get it later this year, tho

Ive waited to play this for about 5-7 years, and I finally got around to it.

Oh yeah. Thats also why I didnt bother with them. Ive put in a good 100+ hours/3 playthroughs on both 4 and 6 gba, so paying more for a prettier less content game is a pass, unfortunately
