And these people are effecting others in ways beyond just having covid and spreading it. These so many covid icu admissions right now it's extreme taxing on the system. It spreads everyone thinner. Healthcare workers are more exhausted both physically and mentally. All of our ecmo machines are not in use for covid patients which means if someone else needs it we cant provide that service. And that's the case for all surrounding hospitals with ecmo capabilities.

When they are numbers it's hard to feel bad for them.

But imagine the fear people have when they come in anxious, struggling to breath on high amounts of oxygen and the icu doctor is asking them questions about how if they weren't able to make decisions for them self who they would want making medical decisions and if they'd be okay with a breathing tube and cpr. You feel for these patients and certainly don't make them feel bad about not getting vaccinated. You just shake your head when your outside the room thinking man what a terrible situation that was so easily preventable.

It's just so sad.

I've been working in the ICU since covid started so I know all of the trends...

I don't know if people outside the hospital realize it but covidnl is raging back. I'm getting as many icu admissions for severe covid as I did in peak covid times. Back then people were scared and quarantined at home. Right now everyone is full blown out in public with no masks.

It's gonna get worse.

Im in Louisiana where only 30 something percent are vaccinated. I can tell you that 100% of the covid patients in our ICU are unvaccinated. It's sad cuz this is all preventable now.

I still think Xbox has a better controller for shooters and PS better controller for sports games. I either play COD or FIFA. All my friends that play FIFA have PS4 and all my friends that play COD have Xbox. Thats why I bought both.

In the future I'll probably only get Xbox just because thats what all my friends play and now my xbox friends are starting to play FIFA more whereas my PS4 friends are playing online less.

I also have a 2 year old toddler and a newborn on the way in about a month so I'm not even gonna bother buying anything new for at least a year.

Its not just about winning, its about the entertainment and thrill. If thats how people want to spend their free time then so be it.

Although I wouldn't be opposed if it becomes legal with the exception that all gambling/betting sites have to have a disclaimer that says, "You will more than likely lose" or something to that effect, similar to how tobacco products say they can cause cancer.

Ive found that if the agency says $200 for 1 hour that's how much I pay. However, if I go off reservation and add anal, rough stuff or another girl im going to have to go into my pocket.

I always get the number up front first and I always like when the girls travel to me because if they want to jack the price up too much I just tell them to split.

Only other thing I can tell you is don't pay for an hour if you are a 2 pump chump. The clock starts once people start getting naked not while you make her a drink or are discussing how the evening is going to go.

As much as I love steak and chicken, I'm not going to defend it like its superior. We all know that red meat = bad for cardiovascular health, but people don't realize that white meat vs no meat also is bad for cardiovascular health.

I'm certainly going to be making a serious effort in cutting down meat and only eating it on special occasions. I just don't know how to replace that protein when I'm eating in the work cafeteria every day

-Just hanging out outside in the evenings means you are going to get destroyed by mosquitos. Like bugspray is pretty much a requirement every single day if you're going to be out in the evening.
-During the day its too hot and humid to do anything.

-Drivers are idiots and often driving around uninsured - which is why the south has some of the highest car insurance rates
-racism, sexism, homophobia is common. Its not always overt, usually subtle, but most definitely prevelant.
-large residential subdivisions being built all along small roads which leads to significant traffic and congestion - just horrible city planning altogether. And they will never increase spending to fix the roads
-anti-intellectuals, anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers - under 35% vaccination rate in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama
