They knew it was a taser, which means they knew the taser has a limited effective range, and they knew that even if they were hit by the taser that it would be a non-lethal strike. Do you believe big tech companies should have the power to sway elections especially when they have expressed interest in doing just that? I don't think they should any more power to sway elections than they already have... social media already has so much market saturation - so many eyeballs already locked in and consuming - and the interactive nature of it makes it more persuasive than television and radio imho. SM inherently has power to sway public opinion just in being a platform for people to broadcast their agendas.
