Biden is in the position that he's in because he was considered superior to his competitors and he has one competitor left and I hope to fuck nothing stupid happens there. I hope to fuck he was really the strongest competitor from the blue side and not whatever all the blumpkins are saying... at fox news or one america or gateway pundit or CNS or daily caller or... I wanted to name like a dozen and I couldn't remember more than 5 -_- doesn't matter. No one should ever count their chickens before they hatch... and this November will not be like any previous one and I say that as someone a bit older than most here I'm not that old but I was born in Reagan's first term and yeah this November will not be like anything I've been through and I'm excited and fucking terrified, but I could also say that about anything and everything else about life right now. | Machete 07/12/20 12:11:29 AM #3 | Utah would not be a place I would go for that and I know first hand what it's like to really need that kinda break lol... but all that aside, what's important is you're doing what you need to do and you're doing it for yourself, so to that I say not just congrats for making the right call but best of luck too. Mental health is something that just... no matter who you are and what you've been through and you're dealing with presently... you will take it for granted.You'll do everything to tell yourself that it's not something you need to deal with. There will always be something more urgent, more serious... more this, more that. There will however come a time when you just can't do that anymore and everything goes wrong... just before or just after usually, like two steps to the process. One is life fucking you up. One is you realizing it. It's not always the same one first. They can switch on you, lol. I get it though, and I hope things go well and you figure out anything and everything you need to figure out. I would say stay safe and be well but it sounds like that's just kind of a given and doesn't need to reiterated but yeah... like if you're doing anything and this topic is about a mental health break... you're in better shape than a lot of people and you're doing good for yourself, regardless of how anything turns out, like you're already a bunch of steps in the right direction. And I say that as someone who... I mean I'm not in the same mental health break per se but I certainly feel more broken than I have in years and in terms of mental health I'm figuring out some shit I never expected to be reality much less had to confront and really the worst of what I've had to confront in recent years was only just sort of echos... smaller scale revisiting of shit that I barely could remember and that I convinced myself was nothing. The suppression, even though I always remembered. I just didn't think it mattered or should have mattered. The suppression was never healthy and if it wasn't for the state of the world now, I wouldn't have been forced to face it... and I hate the word forced... but I always would have and always did my damndest to avoid facing it. I'm gonna stop there because I'm probably well fucking past tl;dr lmao but the point I'm making is that anything you do that you do for the sake of your mental health is the right thing for you. A lot of instincts might fuck around and you might question that, but if you're doing what you truly believe you need to do, for you... then you are... and fuck all that other noise. Maybe you'll be able to keep up then." and just in case I look edgy or something, I've been far enough down the sleep paralysis rabbit hole that it's an inconvenient formality now and I had something happen once that I still don't even know... the closest google shit came up with "sleep exploding head syndrome" and... that being said there really isn't a response that could make any sense... and even looking that up wouldn't actually do much to describe what happened. Like that's the "most accurate" example I've ever found but it's still far from what I experienced. Big Trouble in Little China This is a fucking gloriously accurate series of posts imo, especially in regard to Drunken Master 2. Amusingly enough, I was not a fan of The Other Guys. I would not lump that movie in with the rest of these by any means, but at the same time I do get the appeal of why it would be enjoyed by people who have enjoyed the rest of these movies and I get the similarities, but it was just not for me... That being said, Big Trouble in Little China, Kung Fu Hustle and both Drunken Masters were almost fucking mind-blowingly incredible... Also, as much as I disliked The Other Guys, I really liked The Nice Guys. I feel like they get compared because they are kinda similar and the titles even more similar, but I could not get into Will Farell's character and Wahlberg was just average. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling were both super on point and like really into the period piece so I could fucking really feel it and the other crazy shit that happened...
