If I use an item or spell that cures "all status effects" it cures the pepper effect but Grail Locket stops "all status effects" but doesn't work? I demand consistency! Anyway it took me about 3 or 4 tries to beat him. I equipped Randy and Rixia with the arts canceling quartz and gave Wazy enough Water to get the all-enemies water attack which I used whenever he got 2 mobs out. Then I just had the other 3 bait them while Wazy took them out and attacked the boss when I could. I kind of had a feeling Dieter would heel turn since the first meeting with him in Zero. Never suspected Arios though. That last line of Chapter 4 was brilliant.
