My son decided to write a fan fiction of Hollow Knight instead writing for the game I wanted to run. It's a first person perspective of a fictional run.

My Souls history:

Dark Souls - Got the PS3 version as a gift from a friend, played up to Blighttown and quit because of the frame rate issues. Later bought the Remaster on PS4 and finished it

Bloodborne - Free on PS Plus, couldn't figure out where to go in the very first area >_>

Elden Ring - Got it as a gift from the same friend who gave me Dark Souls 10 years earlier. Got stuck on Margit for like a year and then just didn't keep playing after I finally felled him. I'll probably get back to it eventually

I ended up selling Dark Souls Remastered for more than I paid for it, so I think I'm at a net zero spent on the series. I want to like these games but the hit detection is really bad and it ruins the experience for me.

I was right that the From Soft games were in order, but I thought it was top to bottom instead of bottom to top

I was here too and had FF7 in 2nd before realizing that was wrong because 3rd was his favorite JRPG. I couldn't think of anything else for 6th so I went with the Orange Box, but I didn't feel good about it because HL2 was in the honorable mentions I think

The GBA remakes hold up pretty well imo. I started with Yellow in 1999 and loved it at the time but I don't think I'll ever play RBY again

I played Pokmon Blue in 1998 and I don't get why it blew up...! The series has had a strange journey where we spent our teenage years thinking it was a lame game for babies, and then it had a resurgence when people went back to it as adults (except for just me, it seems!).

I went through my "lame baby game" phase when I was like 10 but it only lasted a few months (maybe even weeks idk)

Maybe one day I'll play a Resident Evil game

Even if they win this game against the fucking Wizards, this team isn't fun to watch. It's like watching streetball half the time. No offensive rhythm, constant turnovers. Their defensive positioning is almost always wrong. Beal being out again for an extended period of time. They desperately need someone else to step up.

I decided to watch the football game instead

For real though P4 cast is great. I prefer SEES but it's definitely a different dynamic and that dynamic basically develops over time whereas the Investigation Team has great friend chemistry from the jump.

Teddie is the only one of the P4 cast I like

Eh Suns played like poop. Cant have that many turnovers and expect to win.

It the Suns ever get that under control they arent going to lose many games. Book and KD just get really careless with the ball for no reason. Been an issue all season long for the team.

idk about anyone else but I'm just in it for the fun of trying to solve the hints, not really too concerned with winning

Yeah, I think Metroid got the worst of it because I have like 100 Metroidvanias in my Steam library that all sound more appealing to play

...and I ended up starting one of them, whoops

imo if you were in high school at the same time it's not creepy. I briefly dated a sophomore as a senior and the age gap would have ended up being 21-17 for like a week before she turned 18 (I think she skipped a grade at some point or something), and a lot of senior-freshman relationships would end up there down the road. Of course, meeting when you're both in high school and meeting when one person is in their 20s is different, but I don't think it's that big of a deal

there's also the chance she was held back at some point and is 18, or lied to him about her age
