"It is important to have an honest and sincere effort to disrupt UNRWA," the senior aide reportedly wrote Trump's Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt in an email dating back to January 11, 2018. "This [agency] perpetuates a status quo, is corrupt, inefficient and doesn't help peace," Kushner said of UNRWA.

Id like to see if that is investigated and established as true or not. If the agency is, say, pocketing the aid or a group like Hamas is... well, that would not be good. On the other hand, Kushners claim might be false, so, yeah, investigate.

You want the Left to self reflect and reconsider their methods?

Thats not going to happen. They believe they are morally superior, so it doesnt make sense that there would be anything wrong with what they are doing. Vox writer Zack Beauchamp serves as a great example when his recent article (link below) defended Sarah Jeongs racist tweets by basically falling back to the argument that she cant be racist because she is a minority (AKA oppression context) and, besides, she was just speaking satirically (AKA she didnt really mean it) and it was a justified reaction to the scary internet (AKA white people made her do it).

Superman solos the Avengers.

Guys, we all love Marvels heroes, whether its because of the comics or their great movies. But lets not get carried away here. Superman is too damn fast and too damn strong. The only reason why we dont see him just executing all of the villains in his own nuniverse is because thats not the kind of character DC wants to portray. Superman is supposed to be a benevolent god figure whose real challenge is in resolving the conflict between his awesome alien powers and the very human compassion and humility he was raised with. He would not, or at least should not, lose to the Avengers, unless you allow for someone like Dr. Strange exiling him to some other dimension.

I found that most college students, like students of pretty much any age range, gravitated toward the people who thought just like they do or, maybe, subconsciously always wanted to. Cliques always arise, and I really dont remember any student seeking out people who were very different from themselves. Yes, in class, youd get to hear various peoples views, but thats very different from being open minded to what they were saying and desiring an honest, sincere discussion about why they even thought that way.

Ultimately somebody stole the land from the native citizens and enforced the premise of buying land and ownership of it. Just because it was legal by the invader's policies doesn't make it acceptable.

Do you own a house or a car gunplgirl?

I don't think you're ever going to get an honest answer to that, let alone an explanation as to why all white, black, Asian and other non-native people living in the US right now shouldn't turn over all their property for redistribution. It'll probably just be some special pleading about how that is different and they don't have to follow their own logic.

I don't think that makes sense from a legal standpoint. You don't prove yourself innocent. The burden of proof is on the prosecution. It is not advisable to ever speak to law enforcement and other investigators, whether you did or did not commit wrongdoing. Investigators are not your friends. They are looking to close cases and that means having someone to pin a charge to. Even if you did not do anything wrong, humans are fallible. We easily forget details, misspeak by accident and can be intimidated into perjuring ourselves. Law enforcement has many good members, but they are human and fallible as well.

Keep in mind that I also mean all of this for us, regular people. It always shocks me how frequently and easily someone will speak to law enforcement, especially when they have not gotten legal counsel yet to help them.

The argument I've heard is that the costs are spread around more, so individuals aren't impacted as much. Usually the concession added is that, yes, those with more money will pay more, but those people are considered immoral or otherwise unjustified in having their wealth (another aspect of privilege), so its not supposed to matter.

If it lines up with someone elses, then I feel rapport, if not sympathy. Again, I dont wish harm on Demi Lovato or anyone else dealing with mental health issues. Then I read about Demi Lovato, and shes got singing talent that most people can never ever be trained to have, shes been on Disney shows and toured the world as a pop star, is young and fairly attractive and rich, and shes loved by so many fans. I do not wish any harm to come to her, but its really hard for me to feel sorry for someone who has so much and is basically on the verge of throwing all that and her life away.
