I like the idea of each character having their own unique route. Reminds me a lot of Street Fighter Alpha 2, one of the greatest fighting games ever. Classic is definitely better here than in previous games, but it got pretty old after a while for me (especially the bonus levels). Loved WoL, though. xp1337 posted... I'm still not quite sure if this is a DLC add-on or a full game prequel or what, but Xenoblade 2 was one of my top 10 games from last year and I'm totally down to play more. It's basically a full game prequel reusing the engine and many assets (it is, of course, much shorter than XB2, but probably still like 30 hours). I liked the characters a lot better (particularly because I hate Rex...), but there was some lazy game design in that about half of the game is basically forced sidequests (which I would have done anyway, but I imagine it would be pretty annoying for someone inclined to skip them). --- Congrats to Advokaiser for winning the CBX Guru Challenge! |
