100% this . These "people" are not like minorities ,gay people, or immigrants. Like these Pro- Mutant people would try to tell you. By their very nature they are threats. How are the same people who have bleedings heart for these "people" the same people who want gun control. Well let me tell you flower child. Like are you a Nielson household who's viewership actually gets tracked? If not your not watching is meaningless. Are you boycotting the commercialism associated with the Super Bowl? If so, then yeah you absolutely cannot go to a party as that's basically a celebration of the commercialism.

But if you are just wanting to not watch the game then you can absolutely go to a party and not really watch the game. You will likely not be the only one. That said, showing up eating a lot of food and then leaving immediately is just asshole behavior. Like it's super rude and your friends will absolutely think it's very weird.
