The tl;dr is that it'll always use a support skill if it can, but it won't use rallies on units that have already acted, and it won't use move skills on units that haven't. There's some hierarchy beyond that (I believe melees move before ranged, but because I'm not sure on that it's pretty whatever) Alternatively, get in range so there's less guesswork. Or just... whatever, trial and error because you get infinite tries so who cares. Not sure how learning how the AI is going to navigate the map is a bad type of difficulty exactly. --- No problem! Which I'd imagine pretty much every high upkeep Sniper becomes. If you want an example of a dude who has a really good sniper rifle but is just "a dude" it'd probably be like... some rando from Halo like Avery Johnson with a Covenant Sniper rifle is probably your best bet. Which is sort of what you meant by "strong snipers" I suppose but there are snipers above the level of gunner trash like Alyx that I'd probably say have the same issues. Like Yu's "tankiness" doesn't matter if he's going to go against high tier people which is what I was doing with him. People just field them in braindead situations and expect things to work out. (this is in large part because of the minbid element of mercs meaning you need to commit more than just a slot to a healer and if you get one early you're going to have a situation where you don't have an adequate frontline for them-- big part of the reason I feel I made it work in draft edition is we started the game with full rosters so I never fielded support units where I couldn't argue them being protected) (the cute solution is to reduce the minbids of healer types substantially) --- No problem! I basically had healbot Yu Narukami clutch out a match more than once in the draft edition. People just don't try it because people have historically been dumb about rostering them wisely. Biggest thing I liked about F/GO is it tended to respect your time and didn't pressure you to do stuff immediately. Throwing out the final singularity + raid DO IT NOW (worse if like me you had not finished through Camelot at the time) goes against what I enjoyed about the game so I'm basically taking an extended break for now.
