I watched the short version first and can safely say the short version is like, way too short to sell me on a the match. I don't actually get what the feud is about there. It's more like a music video about nothing than a promo for the match.

Long video is much better, though I'm pretty low on Wyatt rambling in general and think Cena does a poor job of selling fear. I could see liking it if I really drank the Wyatt kool aid though.

Will probably stop doing all the dailies fairly often now. 30 crystals not a huge deal. On the other hand most of them seem important to do for team progression so I expect myself to fall into the trap of "well I'm so close may as well do this bonding mission..."

For an idea of just how strong Ignis's BSB is with awakenings I am able to 19999x10 Sapphire Blitzes on Phoenix with Tidus's Awakening without a chain just by using that thing and having imperil 2 on it (technically I have Tidus Glint and Tidus USB1 running too so it's not quite that ridiculous in the general case but yeah). I can sub 30 Phoenix with Tidus doing all the damage.

It feels dumb to get a BSB but Ignis's BSB is basically an Ultra+ in disguise, much like Edge's SSB was.

R Shard = 1 Memory Shard (so 5 per dupe)
SR Shard = 10 Memory Shards (so 200 per dupe)
SSR Shard = 30 Memory Shards (so 1500 per dupe)

It's an outlet for more Rune Stones I guess. I think that's the only thing you should ever buy as it'll be difficult to get 3500 shards per month and that's the only truly valuable resource in there.

Kinda unexciting otherwise.

Focus banners are also super good in this game. Best gacha feature I've ever seen, really. Getting a guarantee to draw something from the banner with your first SSR drop is nice.

Just the vanilla banners have pretty generous on banner rates too. And you only ever need to draw one-- drawing more copies just lets them advance quicker.

Related my Lana is getting somewhat close to 6*. Does anyone know what happens when you hit a 6* for drops? Do you stop drawing that character or am I gonna get a random 50 Lana Shards later I have no use for.

Ignis BSB is nice everywhere. His burst command gives a buff that gives 100% crit and +50% crit damage to someone if you use it twice. So you use it on your dps and it completely wrecks things.

Otherwise it's just the standard stuff that's been good for the last few since the selections haven't changed much. There are some good healing ultra soul breaks (Elarra, Aeris), ability double ultra soul breaks (Vivi, Maria, Palom) and some other stuff here and there. The dualcast LMRs are okay. Arcane Soul Breaks are Arcane Soul Breaks but keep in mind when the Full Throttle renews in a month or two you can get a few of the good ones (Cloud or Bartz, notably come to mind) from that instead if we get the same sets

Just do all the goblin levels, do all the gold events, do the trials, and be careful with what you spend money on. Also get as many of the 2000 silver ore 120k packs as you can (if you alchemy rare items you get 100 ore a pop)

Huh Rydia USB2 is indeed not on this. The relic pool on the USB select is so dated I may skip it. May skip the arcane one too really. The FF7 event going on right now in JP is amazing to me and has that on it and I can beat Phoenix so not urgent to grab Yuffie Arcane. Not thinking of any others that help me a ton either.

Yeah I can too to an extent because I have been posting them in topic and remember how many 10 pulls it took to get dudes.

Pre Alte focus I was 12/490, which is pretty close to the same as my current 2.4%.
Pre Angelina focus I was 11/400, which was a pretty big drop from 2.75%
Pre Zerida which was around my peak rate I was 9/270, which was another big drop from 3.3%. Actually I guess it was 8/270 forgot I got a dupe Leon, so 2.95% pre Zerida.

My current rate is 14/580 which is actually above the expected 2% at 2.4%. I used to be way higher though. Like close to 3%. My luck lately has been normalizing a bit.

Meh decided to let Altemuller try and make me work harder for the event stuff (aka my willpower is weak)

10x 3 = Kirikaze
10x 4 = Egbert + Narm
10x 5 = Narm + Silver Wolf

10x 7 = Vargas
10x 8 = Hein
10x 9 = Sophia + Sonya + Altemuller + Bernhardt (already had so 50 shards, still he's one I use so no complaints) what a draw

9x to get Altemuller which is regression from my early luck in this game, but I got two SSRs at least which I guess technically removes a lot of the regression.

First time I'm very low on quartz/tickets, but I also have nothing to draw for in a good long while. I'm also only missing 3 SSRs at this point due to some luck and use of focus banners. Elwin + Ledin + Shelfaniel. I wouldn't mind getting any of them and will probably go for focuses on them rather than go for Listell or any of the other upcoming SSRs but we'll see I guess. May just save for Trails at this point even though as I've said before I'm not familiar with the source material-- the characters seem quality and having ultra violence would make my goals of a usable protagonist team better.

Like honestly the problem right now is that 3* units are currently basically 4* units with a 2000 feather tax. That's boring. You might as well just remove 3* rarity from the game. It serves no purpose but to annoy people right now.

Better way to split it to account for character bloat would be to just overhaul rarity completely. Discard 3* rarity from the game as something you can draw. Instead just change the odds to like, 82 4* - 12 4* special - 3 5* - 3 5* focus.

4* - Bloated set of units 3-4* currently has, drawn as 4*.
4* special - The set of all, or some subset of, dated 5* units, drawn as 4*. Maybe include some old seasonals on this for seasonals? You could do a lot of things with a second meaningful rarity tier that is below 5*.
5* and 5* focus - same as now.

I'd love to draw a lot of the "bad" 5* units at lower rarity personally. +10 Karel would be super cool. You're not really "diluting" the pool by including him either since the 3-4 pool is on the whole not good right now. Yeah you'll get a slightly lower number of hinatas. Does anyone who plays the game enough to care about drawing hinatas still need hinatas? I doubt it.

Honestly I think we're at a point in the number of the characters in the game where we can like, be a bit more liberal with what goes in the 3-4 pool rather than just making it a flat selection every time. Having a banner with classic 5* units that don't have good inheritance fodder in the 3-4* pool would be a pretty neat thing to do if they weren't in all of them. You could even put some good inheritance fodder in some of them to beef up a weaker banner.

Like really the idea behind the 3-4* pool should be to reach a total pool size of something close to when the game was released, but selectively choosing the stuff that goes in it from a set of 3-4* units along with dated 5* units based on game and weapon type or whatever else.

Also just for the record you don't actually need to share with anyone for the daily mission, just click the share button. You can also do that with friend vouchers so you don't need to summon every day to full clear. Just 2 I think?

Thought this was interesting. Looks like the theory of 80% on banner was right. SR rate seems to be 13%.

Also pretty sure with those odds the way SRs work is that you get a guaranteed SR if you didn't draw any in the set, rather than just a flat bonus SR, otherwise there'd be a lot more 2 SR pulls I think.

It's usually not a bad idea but it depends on the secondary ability of the magicite. Some you'll want to run two of them naturally so you won't want to give both of them empowers.

Try to aim for 2 or 3 empowers on your team. Inherit an empower if you have to to reach that but just be careful that you don't hit a situation where you're getting 4 empower sources.

Looks like a generally good item that is an awkward fit for the classes that use it. You'd want it on clerics.

I think Chris can use gear from that category because her class is weird so that's something to consider if you like Chris. Otherwise uhhh, I dunno. Probably ranged units in general are better cause they have more flexibility in spaces you can place them. Keep in mind like, an archer with aim would hit the passive on the aim square as well as the square they take an action in so Luna's probably okay (you like to stack up Magic Resist with her anyway so bonus MR is good).

Angelina seems okay because of her hook + swap + bonus action.

I barely tread water on leveling by doing the two Angelica training schools daily. I am however keeping 8 units at pace. However I also have the +10% EXP Blessing since I got the 50 crystals daily privilege, so yeah I'm thinking 7 is the more reasonable goal if you don't have that (although IIRC you do)

Resist should stop all of them. What might be getting you is I think the knockback on Ram still works so she could be being knocked out of guard range-- you can fix that by placing a unit behind her though.

I would guess they are. Sage Hat and the Jester Mask thing that confuses, along with all the "while HP is > 80%" gear seem significantly more rare to me.

The spell resist will prevent Ram from doing that. I'd slot that if it's really screwing you over.

The superior way to do this is with a Sage Hat. It's only a SR item so you may have drawn one. It casts Resist on a random guy next to the unit wearing the Sage Hat, so you can move your tank, move your healer next to the tank, and it can tank all the Rams you need.
