So this judge seems like an a*****e, but at first I could see what he was talking about. His initial argument was just a technical issue with the rapists sentencing. His stance now seems like a personal one. I'm not sure what evidence this guy claims he would've seen that completely absolves the defendant.

So, why mod Infinite at all? My understanding is Ultimate is the go to and already has much of the same cast. Was the gameplay a huge improvement or something? I'd imagine balance changes can already be modded in Ultimate.

Nah, the Vader scene is legit, but the whole third act is top tier. It gets so much praise cuz it's so different from everything else SW's. The mission is a success, but there is no happy ending. No ceremonies or big celebrations. Just sacrifice in the name of hope.

Dark fate. Loved the first half and what they were doing was interesting. It quickly nosedives after sarah joins in the frey.

There are a lot of comparable modern retro shooters to doom. There are also graphical mods for doom which are impressive in what they achieve.

This is hilarious. I'd actually believe it if you told me that was the reason.

Edit: after looking at the article, it seems a little shady. It states that it counts shows ending/cancellations/limited series as part of their total outcome. Presenting the issue as one only affecting LGTBQ characters is a little dishonest.

When did that change happen? Kinda feels like a cop out, to use a change that happened before the internet. Also, are we talking actual lore for them or some random story before they were established?

I think more ppl care about lore than we think, but let anyone speak up and some random will tell them how pathetic of a person they for their interests.

Both strong choices. My only issue with banana is candy. I know why, but I just don't like that flavoring. As for mango, I kind of feel like there are lot of things labeled mango that don't actually taste like mango; leading to a spectrum of what ppl think mango taste like.

Black Panther. I really dont see whats so mind-bogglingly amazing about it. I dont think its a bad movie, and maybe it was ruined for me because I wasnt able to see it until a week after release and all I saw was people going absolutely nuts over it, but I was so incredibly underwhelmed by it. I personally think its bottom tier MCU.

I wouldn't call it bottom tier, but it definitely is overhyped. I think much of it's fanfare comes from it's production and cultural presence as oppose to its final product. The other point I've seen from fans is that it's the best origin movie. Ironman aside, I do kind of agree with that point.

Not even close. The only thing the second movie did well was adapting Namor to the MCU. Everything that was bad about Black Panther, Wakanda Forever multiplied.

Anything by Wes Anderson, Tarantino, or Guy Ritchie.

No hard lines, but generally speaking, this is the way I see it. Definitely shows that bridge Gens like AoT, Naruto, SAO, One Piece, and Demon Slayer.

There's pretty much nothing we can do about it. We can reduce some plastic use, but there will still be plenty of things we can't eliminate.

Jerry is literally just the old man yelling at these kids and complaining about how things were better in his day. Plenty of comedies around, just not the sit-coms Old man Jerry wants to watch. There are tons of comedies that come out every year, but they are on the various streaming platforms; that Old man Jerry doesn't know anything about.

Even when Seinfield was airing, what were the conservative comedies? Married with Children might the only thing.

I wanted 300 meets Star Wars, I got 300 meets Star Wars. Not sure what people were expecting. 300 did not have these deep and layered characters or plot, it was good guys vs. bad guys with cool action sequences and slow-mo bits.

I'll go on record stating that 300 wasn't a very good movie either. 300 did have a way better story and setting. The best part of Rebel Moon was the big battle scene and it wasn't very good. 300 was basically that battle scene, but the whole movie. Rebel Moon was Dune meets Justice League.

That's actually a great point. As big as she's become, i cant think of a single new song of hers. The closest i get is "Shake it off". I'd say her legacy lies in her battle against the recording industry. She really set a new standard there and actually won.

I'd say she essentially is Madonna rather than Michael.

She's popular among a certain demographic(I've been warned for discussing them). I would say that she's certainly the closest this gen has a to Michael Jackson. She's definitely the biggest artist since.

Unless i'm working in excel I don't need a 10-key. I bought a cheap 65% keyboard and have never gone back. The amount of desk space I get back by not having a 10 key I would barely use, is a blessing. I would go with less noisy key switches, but you get what you pay for.

So it was two things. First the name "Uncle Ben." Even in the early 1900's black people weren't treated with the same respect as white people. Black men were only ever referred to by their first name or as "boy" "Uncle" or "old man." They were never addressed respectfully as "Mister" because they were seen as beneath white people and not deserving of that respect.

So the uncle in Uncle Ben's is a holdover from that time period. Even if that's not something everyone in the present day was aware of, it still had to go.

Then there's the picture itself. It's not that it's "minstrel-y" it's that he's wearing a suit with a bow tie. Similar to what black servants wore in the past. It perpetuated the image that black people were subservient. And at the time the picture was taken, a majority of black people were domestic servants.

So it's things that don't seem like a big deal if you don't know the history behind it, but I'm glad they changed it.

you have one game. games are expensive. birthday is once a year. you get like 2 or 3 games a year max. your options are play video games, watch tv, or go outside. no internet or phone to distract you like no. you have a lot of time to just play the same game over and over again. you git gud.

Yep, and most didn't even have cable, so you had basic channels. Hell, I think my family had 1 tv at the time.

I think people are just referring to the chocolate itself, not the products it's necessarily used in. For myself, I can't eat the pure chocolate stuff like Kisses or a Hersey Bar. I still get that very acid sour taste from things like Kit Kats and such, but it's to a much lesser extent as the chocolate is a much smaller percent of the bar.

The whole thing was just every ridiculous bad thing about MCU movies. This movie is basically reverse grip swordfighting.

Isn't it weird that Hershey was selling chocolate for decades and no one ever noticed until they started making inroads to the European markets? People imported chocolate before that, people also traveled between Europe and America, and yet no one detected this apparently unmistakable vomit flavour... Until European confectioners started braying it from the mountaintops.

I've eaten Hersey's chocolate all my life, and honestly I've always hated their pure milk chocolate as it's always tasted sour to me. I'm not much for chocolate either way, but I massively prefer dark chocolate. I'm curious, is anyone's number 1 chocolate a Hersey's?
