Isn't SPARDA only in English version of the game? If so it won't be in the anime anyway.

The dub has kept some of the jokes from the English version, so I assume at least one of the localizers is familiar with the games.

Well, I mean, she is. You just see her as Edea for most of the game.

But I do like how Dissidia also shows that the connection between Squall and Ultimecia is looser than the hero/villain relationship in other games because he's the only hero who has no problem just killing off his villain.

There's a lot of Amano art of Cloud/Aerith (yes, she's called Aerith in the Ultimania) and Cloud/Red XIII for some reason. Also, man, imagine if we ever got Barret's Amano art into a contest. That would be...something.

They've got a flow chart explaining the relationships between a lot of characters, and some of them are pretty hilarious. For instance, the arrow from Shera to Cid says, "Devoted to," but the arrow from Cid to Shera says, "Treats poorly." Also, there's an arrow from Heidegger to the Turks that says, "Commands (in theory)." Also, there are three arrows pointing to Cloud with the word "Favors," coming from Aerith, Tifa, and...Jessie. Don't have an arrow showing who Cloud favors though...!

Oh man, under Memorable Quotes for Cloud, literally the first one is, "All right, everyone, let's mosey." A+ job, Square. The others are really solid ones, too, but yeah.

Looks like Cloud's "official" job class is Magic Swordsman. Also, apparently, the Buster Sword is held to his back by a magnet. Must be a pretty heavy duty magnet! It also originally had a chain dangling from the hilt. Apparently, Cloud's biggest spike was supposed to resemble a remote control antenna, which is pretty neat foreshadowing just based on the design. Also, in case you were wondering, Cloud wore a padded bra when he was cross-dressing! They go into detail describing the appearances of Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith during this part of the game since I guess the game's engine wasn't able to fully show it off.

Time to look into this Ultimania for a little bit. Like the first one, this book opens up with I guess is supposed to be a "defining" quote for the protagonist and villain of each game.

FFVII:

Okay, Ace Attorney anime episode 8 complete

Kind of a bummer they cut out the visit to Blue Screens, Inc., but Lisa Basil is probably the most expendable character in the OT, so I get it. They really nailed Viola in the 3-3 adaptation, but everyone else feels kind of off. Watching Gumshoe take down the Tiger was pretty great, but he does feel a lot less threatening in the anime than he was in the game.

Eh, I think it probably would. SSB4 has no real staying power. It's definitely one of those games where everyone moves on once the next big thing comes out.

The relationship between Brawl and the rest of the series changed once SSB4 came out, and SSB4 will be worse off than Brawl was in that regard.
