Gotta say I don't even think a third banner solves things long term. Best idea I ever saw to solve the ever growing roster was to always run a character on a single day banned for their birthday alongside the regular banners

From the leak of the claim, it won't be a phase 3 type banner but a type that runs alongside the regular phase 1/2 specials, like the standard does now. It'll have a few older characters at a time and a way to guarantee the one you're going after. Pity will be the same but it'll be separate.

Possible 3rd banner starting up in 4.5.

I think I went with the moss seelie last year. So I'll probably go with the underwater one.

I really hope Shenhe's next rerun doesn't take over a year this time lol.

Speaking of sources,I often use that one Google doc. Community Character Builds by Genshin Helper Team. It's great, except for when I try to view it on mobile, as I often do since I'm in-game when I want to look. Only the first few characters of an element load and then it stops. Anyone else have that issue and figured out what's up?

I had a fun time waking up this morning and laughing for about 20 minutes over the Gaming jokes on the leaks subreddit.

You'd be surprised how many people reinstall or log back into a gacha game just because they're doing a giveaway like this or when anniversary goes on. I used to do it with Granblue when they'd do those roulette wheel events LOL. Otherwise I stopped touching it, the grind wore me down and I hear it's even worse these days, sadly.

That's probably a factor. People have also made the point that HSR has to compete with other similar turn-based gachas while they essentially have a monopoly on open-world ARPG ones. The various 'Genshin killers' that have popped up so far have all sucked to some degree afaik.

This is a really good point, too. Even just compared to another TB gacha like Another Eden, I prefer Another Eden.

I can't stop listening to the Giga one, it's so amazing.

Are others quitting for the same reason I did, a month after launch? The first story arc was great and all but one planet a year with a VERY small amount of exploration just wasn't gonna do it for me. And it's more grindy, which I got worn out on, as it's turn-based and I can't skimp on on gear the way I do with Genshin.

This game is so massive with so much to do. I've logged 300+ hours since July, and I'm no where near done yet. About to start Fontaine, but I have plenty of stuff from the other nations I haven't finished yet.

It really is. I wonder how many hours I have logged. Since I main on PC I think I have to email Mihoyo and ask to be able to know haha. And I'm kind of scared to know...

Unless you're trying to 3* Abyss 12, there's honestly no need to get characters to 80. I only have two characters at 80, and that's purely due to simping.

I think your Sucrose/Fischl/Xingqiu would be good with her, yeah. For Diluc, I'm not entirely sure since I don't even have the guy yet, but maybe him with Ganyu, Diona, and Sucrose. Might be a good melt, and Ganyu is also really good I hear.

Pretty excited to start using my new freeze team. Went from Chongyun/Wrio/Shenhe/Xingqiu to Wrio/Shenhe/Furina/Jean. Still need to do some building, so not quite yet, but soon. It'll also be my first all 5* team.

I finished the archon quest tonight, I loved it a lot. Venti may have finally been toppled off from his spot as my favorite Archon. Spoilers for the end stuff:

If I had any complaint, it's the whale boss fight. It felt like the archon version was cut short and kind of anticlimactic? Tomorrow I'll do the trounce stuff for the week and I'll refight it properly then. The music for the boss is so good, it didn't deserve to get hacked up like that. :(

I loved everything else though. I was glued to the screen especially during Furina's trial, and when the truth finally came out through Neuvi talking to Focalors and Traveler seeing Furina's origins. I feel for Furina so much. It was a gut punch when we finally got to see what she would have said to Traveler, and she STILL chose to continue playing her part. Goddamn, that poor girl.

The ending stuff is interesting, too. The gnosis are made from the 3rd Descender's corpse, which is...gnarly. Why do I have a weird feeling that it's somehow the Sibling? I don't know. Obviously some cracked out stuff would be going on for that to happen since we see the Sibling. It's still a hunch I have, though. And as a Childe fan, I was pretty sad he didn't have any kind of lines. Did get a badass cutscene, at least. We finally met Skirk and she's a lot more kooky than I imagined her to be.

Navia animations just leaked and what an absolute QUEEN.

With the archon story for 4.2, I'm not too far yet, just wrapped up a dungeon bit, but Mihoyo has come far since Teppei, indeed. had me crying twice already at the graveyard and then when they kept her consciousness safe just long enough for Neuvillette to grab her and to make a proper goodbye. Hurts, you guys.

Got her! Lost to a C1 Mona on the way but I don't mind. She's my first archon!! Also got C1 Charlotte and C6 Collei.

All except Collei were new for me. As an added bonus I did a 10 pull on standard with the wish I got from ascending Keqing for the first time and pulled Jean. Account grew in a big way tonight.

Grats!!! Xingqiu especially I'd look into building once you're able, he's a really good support that works in many teams.

Improved my Fischl's energy recharge and he Q time is so much better now. Have her in a team with Neuvillette and he's so fun to play. I'm thinking he'll be my second lvl 90 character after Tartaglia.

God, I wish. I was actually looking at mods for Mega Mix+ a couple days ago and decided I'll bite the bullet when the bundle goes on sale next, since that's pretty good for $30. I have a lot of playtime on Future Tone PS4 but the mods will be worth the double dip.
