I remember fire watch, such a calm and relaxing experience (for the most part). I enjoy those types of games every once in a while.
Reminded me of Endless Ocean for the Wii.

I think the map system is the most common issue I hear other talk about with regards to Hollow Knight. I enjoyed it wvwm if sometimes it was quite frustrating. Being lost and one hit away from death only to hear that guy humming his familiar tune.

I think the best way to solve part of the issue would be simply to not have him charge you for the maps. Once or twice i found him in despair and didnt have enough Geo.

I've stumbled upon some of your own lists and we have very similar taste so I'm curious to discover something new here.

An old list of yours is the only reason I ever discovered Bleed & Bleed 2.

Trophies & achievements just so nothing for me at all unless I really love the game

Entirely depends on the game. Anything that's clearly better on PS4 for reasons such as Doom or Witcher 3 the PS4 version and I dont think twice about it. Games where a decent sized TV really helps.

Something that's a platformer or 2D I tend to get on the Switch these days. My Switch Lite is by far the system I use the most. Things like Celeste, Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight.

DQXI was a unique example where the 2D mode alone made the switch version the superior choice for me anyways.
